We went deep on the dline, keeping both Covington and Hyder. I think we've got enough DT for this year.
On the bright side, suspensions save money and let you carry the rights of extra players for a while. A deeper reserve of talent. This makes it cheaper to retain Crawford's rights for next year too.

What sort of a friend/family member allows an obviously drunk Crawford to get to this point? There's always ways to deescalate things, I used to deal with it all the time with hot heads and idiots who couldn't handle their alcohol. When you know he has so much riding on this rep to play in the NFL, why let things get that bad?

Come on now. Those punk security guys were running in sucker punching people left and right. They were escalating the problem, but that's what bouncers do. You don't go into that profession because you are a good person and have made great life decisions. Yeah the NFL can suspend him for a couple of games because he was fighting, but there was nothing outrageous about what Crawford did based on how security was acting.

That was a weak *** punch. Crawford had a clean look to the guy with his hands down and threw a punch with absolutely horrid form. That should be a KO shot if someone knew how to punch at all.

What exactly is security supposed to do when they've already been kicked out of the inside bar and they come back in? There is at least one cop in a hell of a lot of trouble for letting that get out of hand and worse, a video.
Folks in that town are asking the Chief questions he doesn't like.....again. This is the resurfacing of this, he's probably thinking he already had this behind him.
Think some of the parents of those girls will see that video and wonder why was that animal swinging wildly and why wasn't that cop doing something?

I would start with the manager not making them leave the property. They refused to leave his employee alone but he lets them go outside to continue drinking? What a stupid move. Think they would cool down outside or heat up? Would Dalton have let them go out on the patio? Hell no.

I do want to thank Crawford for this because it just wouldn't be the off season without one of these to deal with and get us all edgy. If we go though one season without all of this drama, I am finding a new team like the Raiders. Just having football to discuss is just so boring.

Up until the time he pushed the cop, much ado about nothing. The bouncers looked like they salivating for some action. Alpha males looking to impress the ladies, alcohol, and a closed room. What do you think could possible happen with that combination. Why anyone would want to be standing around in a crowded room drinking alcohol is beyond me.
If Crawford gets a 2 game suspension, it will cost him $500K. 4 Games, a cool $1M. Really dumb to spend that amount of money on a few punches over something probably really trivial.
The bouncers punches were pretty lame, too. Instead of saying Ugly Security on the back of their T-shirts, it should have said Ugly Punches. The police officers get a lot of credit for remaining cool the whole time. If I were the officer getting pushed, I would have tased and maced some people.

Secondly, Ty is not among my favorite players. Honestly, I couldn't care less if he is cut or not. He's a decent player, but not outstanding at anything.
Ty REALLY needs to learn how to fight. OMG is he bad.
This video doesn't appear to be anything new, except maybe the bit at the end outside the club.
