I’d give mentions of beating the Commanders 44-14 in 85 as well as the 35-0 beating we gave the Giants in the Meadowlands

This was my first thought was the 44-14 win over the Commanders.
However I liked the win over SD in the 1990 season after the 1989 1-15 season. It was a good sign of things to come.

My favorite might be the 28-24 Dallas victory over San Diego in September 2005. It was the first Cowboys game I ever watched on television.

To many to remember but one of recent memory was on Thursday night to open season in NY after NYG won SB and we beat them spoiled their party. If I recall that was the first team to lose the opener after the NFL started having the SB winners open on Thursday night.

*ain't nothing beats it on a hot summer afternoon, I'll hit the fridge & pull a big quaff of it every now& then,,,er,,,like all highly refined practicing alcoholic's are inclined to do,,,o_O

( it'd have to be that opening T.D. run by the #22 ,in 1995)

Vs the giants? I been trying to finger out which year that was. That’s got my vote

Ya, that was an electrifying moment for me,when I saw that untouched T.D. run, a definite sign of good things to come our way on the season.
(I knew it,Man,,,I felt it straight away from that very moment,,,straight Truth.)

As the title says...
Mine is when Herschel Walker made his debut on MNF in 1986 and Al Michaels was in the booth with Frank Gifford.
Beat them 31-28 in a back and forth game with Walker looking outstanding... I thought we were going to win the Super Bowl that year.
Danny White breaking his wrist and Phil ‘holding’ Pozderac in the return game ended that dream.

"Herschel Walker first down, touchdown". I remember it. As usual Landry has the Cowboys ready to play week1. Dallas should have beaten them in week 9 too. But by season's end that Giants team was too good. The Cowboys defense wasn't that good that year.

For me it was the 1995 season opener. :) I think that was Phil Simms night too!

1990 I just remember it being a close game and to win the first game of the year after 1-15 the year before seemed huge at the time. I think Moose Johnston had the game winning TD.

1992 Washington on MNF
1995 at NY Giants on MNF
1999 at Washington

1992 against Washington, that was when the script turned to "the Cowboys are now the best team in th NFL by far", crushing teams just became a normal thing after that.
