I think Todd is wrong
Very classy post, and I agree.Alfred's at a point where he's admired more as a man than a player.
That is surely not to denigrate him in any way, whatsoever.
He is great, both as a person and a teammate!
Best of everything in life, Alfred Morris.
?He's not going anywhere. Alfred's 2019 salary was guaranteed by virtue of being on the roster Tuesday COB.
His family is in Dallas, Alfred's a Professional. He ne close by in football shape
He has to be on the team for the first game. This week of practice means nothing. His salary was guaranteed this past Tuesday by still being on roster

Given our young TE’s have a hard time staying on the field and not injured we should be happy to have Witten right now. This makes me happy. It gives me hope that the Cowboys will make more consistently business related decisions rather than feelings.
Witten is most likely one of those guys. Maybe Lee as well. We will see.
I'm a little confused, then. When I was listening to NFL Radio this week, there was a sense of urgency by the broadcaster (Pat K) for the Raiders to cut bait with AB before the 1st game of the season to void his guarantees because he wouldn't be on the week one roster. There was no mention of "It's too late, we're past Tuesday".Tuesday was the deadline for being on the roster. He’s guaranteed.
I like Alfred Morris. You're right he's one of the good guys in this league. I'm not a huge fan of his production or the fact that he's not a real home run threat at any time but, he rarely misses an assignment and, though he's not a spectacular talent, he typically churns out positive yardage. Not suprising, but he is one of the truly good guys in the NFL.
