I think that`s a different circumstance. Conduct detrimental to the team. They actually voided his guarantees because of his behavior, then he demanded a release.I'm a little confused, then. When I was listening to NFL Radio this week, there was a sense of urgency by the broadcaster (Pat K) for the Raiders to cut bait with AB before the 1st game of the season to void his guarantees because he wouldn't be on the week one roster. There was no mention of "It's too late, we're past Tuesday".
These were conversations BEFORE they voided his guarantees and his demand of a release.I think that`s a different circumstance. Conduct detrimental to the team. They actually voided his guarantees because of his behavior, then he demanded a release.
I won't be surprised if Alfred Morris writes a book title "How I made $100 million as Backup in the NFL"" sometime in the FutureHe is a very humble matu
with all the money he has he still drive a used old car that he purchased from his pastor for $2.
He deserve it.The man gives back to the community maybe quietly but he does help people.I won't be surprised if Alfred Morris writes a book title "How I made $100 million as Backup in the NFL"" sometime in the Future
I pretty sure Mickie on “Talking Cowboys” podcast said his contract was guaranteed last Tues (the first day of week 1 of the regular season).
This tells me how much Dallas values Morris and it possibly secures Morris later in the season to return, of it dosent guarantee it bc he could sign elsewhere. But, Morris lives in Dallas with his family.. so I would imagine Morris would love to be able to sign back with the team if needed.

He so slow....but he gave us a few good years thanks Alf
Alfred's at a point where he's admired more as a man than a player.
That is surely not to denigrate him in any way, whatsoever.
He is great, both as a person and a teammate!
Best of everything in life, Alfred Morris.
They'll bring him back next week. They just don't want to guarantee his salary.
