Will Cooper demand $22 million or more long term?

Will he be like Zeke and demand to be the top paid by AAV and guarantees or at least match Julio Jones' contract?

Something like 6 year extension / 132 million with close to $100M guarantees?

This is crazy money.

Yes

The Cowboys traded a first round pick for him. They have to retain him. Not to mention their franchise QB looked like a chump before Cooper got here.

He has all the leverage.

Coop quite smartly refused to negotiate until other deals happened. He knows he's not gonna be #1 but each new top deal moves the needle on his.

Give him 5 for 100 and 60 mill guaranteed. He's absolutely the no drama guy you want around

I agree and I like those numbers as well. If he can live up to where he was drafted like the other Alabama guy who just was paid 66 million guaranteed its worth it

I would pay Cooper 20M before paying Prescott 30M. Keenum proved you can be successful with a cheap QB in the right system. Prescott isn't top 10 so he doesn't deserve franchise QB money.

I am thinking along the lines of 18k to get things, they may want 20k then meet somewhere in the middle is how i see this going we will see

If I'm Cooper--I'm playing the season & hope I'm balling. Otherwise I know I can accept around 15 million at anytime

Hopefully, Gallup and Devin Smith would erupt this year.

You do know that when you put a "k" behind a number it means thousands. So you're basically saying we could sign Cooper for 18 thousand not 18 million. The bottom draw, years ago, on the collective bargaining agreement was 160k. And that was for a seventh round draft pick. But like I said that was years ago. I don't know what it is now or even if its changed. But...

K for thousands.
M for millions.
