This is a salary capped league, it's not our fault we out drafted, out coached, and outplayed a division rival that almost always gives us a hell game. If I remember correctly we went 1-15 in 1989... our 1 win was against the eventual 10-6 Commanders. By beating them we essentially kept them out of the playoffs that season.

What you all say to that?

Haters man i tell u. DAK balled. Why are they having a hard time giving him his props. If we walk out of the packers game sporting 5-0 and its still looking smooth? Dak haters are going to be still hating. Just watch.
We stomped one of the worse teams in the league and our soon to be 35m QB looked great despite a crap run game. Couldn't ask for more. Our secondary had a couple minor issues but they also balled out. I don't remember a game where we knocked so many critical passes down.

People are dogging our defense today but they did many things right. Can't count how many times guys were where they were supposed to be and made great tackles. That last touchdown was garbage at the end of the day they only really gave up 10 and that was early when they were still cold.

Dak had an amazing game. The Giants are one of the worst teams in the league.

Both of these things can be true at the same time.
Better to be great against crap than okay, or not against crap.

Haters praising Baby Jesus Carson Wince for beating a hapless Commanders team, yet can’t give Dak props for a thourogh domination over the Giants

Gotta admit im not a Dak fan. And the giants suck.. but who cares i saw Dak score TD's like never before. The changes Moore made were evident and Dak executed very well. Wide open receivers in the endzone got the ball. Thats something we struggled with last year. Props to the offense and coaches in general. They all did well

Honestly, the most impressive thing about today's game was the way this team responded after about the worst start that any of us could have imagined.

We punt on our first possession, the Giants immediately take the ball 90+ yards for an easy score and we completely dominate from that point forward.

In the past it would have taken us almost the entire first half to fight our way out of a funky start like that. we took our next possession (and the subsequent 3) and just flat out jammed a loss right down their throats.

There was no "Here we go again". It was a matter of resolve and will for that team to pull together after a rough start all around and say "Not today, NY". From that point on the *** whoopin' was served. Loved the character that everyone displayed today.

Division rival.
First game, knocking off the rust.
Worst possible start.

Still found a way to dominate. Dak looked awesome.

Haters can hate.

I think it’s fine to say that but I think anyone who is a Cowboy fan knows that it’s probably not the same game if Linehan or Garrett is calling the offense.

Exactly. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know anything about football and hasn't been paying attention. This team looked completely different. They're not going to bulldoze people like this every week, but the entire offensive philosophy was different with attacks down the field and movement, and Dak made those throws.

I'm a Dak fan, but I fully realize the Giants are atrocious. Don't get too high after one good win or too low after one bad loss. The truth is almost always in the middle.

If we start 5-0, that will say a lot about the team. On the other hand, if we drop a winnable game in there, it'll be suicide watch in here just as sure as it's Super Bowl fever tonight.

I like level headed people. It's a good win, but I wouldn't blow things out of perspective either. Instead, I like seeing it as a stepping stone game, and am ready for the next test.

Spot on. We had numerous penalties that normally kill drives for us. Not today.

:clap:Couldn’t have said it better. Already catching crap because I said Dak had a great game but it’s what I expected against a horrendous team, just like against the Skins and Miami.

You’ll have to wait 3 weeks IMO. The Skins may be a slightly, very slightly bigger test (which isn’t saying much) and we should rest our starters against Miami.
