I did see on the deep ball down the sideline Gallup ran it and allowed a good cushion between him and the sideline that gave Dak more room to throw it without taking the WR out of bounds. This was commented on last season where Gallup gave little to no cushion on those throws. Minor thing that makes a big difference

I like the comparison. What a difference a year makes. Opening day WRs:

2018: Beasley, Hurns, Williams, Thompson, rookie Gallup
2019: Cooper, much improved Gallup, Cobb

It is no wonder that Dak's biggest struggles came when the team was completely devoid of any threat at the WR position following the rapid decline of Dez (second half of 2017 into early parts of 2018).

I am looking for a big year out of Gallup. As the #2 I could see his stats being better than Amari. He’s going to be a stud.

STOP... people need to understand you need weaponS. As in PLURAL... I love Gallup but he's not the focal point of the defense. NE is loaded and just added another mouth. A really big mouth to feed.

The development Gallup showed yesterday, playing in the new Kellen Moore offense, is going to add to this year's offense what the Amari Cooper trade added last year.
Hammer meets nail.

Cooper better be careful or Gallup will end up with more catches this year.

It’s going to be interesting to see if we ever lock up Cooper long term now because of Gallup.

I could see that happening both from Gallup's play and from the new offense. Kellen Moore is going to attack the opponent's weakness so if Cooper is doubled, he will have no problem killing them with throws to Gallup and Cobb.

I gotta agree. The FO is serious about talent acquisition. They have made the right moves, even if they were painful.

Dak is surely blessed with better ability, although Kellen helped with his play-calls and the Giants' poor secondary was a factor as well.

I definitely don't doubt that Dak has greatly improved his game but I also expect a stiffer test Sunday from the Commanders' secondary. ;)

Dallas should stomp Redkins but never know. I feel Kellen as OC helps Dak's game.

Discuss.

I think this and Dak' s development last year and other moves are the main reason Kellen can be this aggressive. I don't think you had the personnel to do it before.

Don't forget what Kitna has done for him

No doubt about it! Kellen did the Cowboys offense a favor with some timely play-calls. We'll likely beat the 'Skins and all but their DBs shame NY's. A female spokes-lady for the Giants was saying how disappointed the NY fans were in their young CBs. She said they were so young and inexperienced that it will likely take a while before they'll live up to their expectations.

If you had noticed my posts recently, you'd know I haven't forgotten. I've been crowing about Kitna shamelessly and about Dak, too. ;)

That's good then, making sure and no I don't follow all your posts, I responded to this one.
