Dak and this offense looking swaggerific

We never, ever saw things like this with Garrett or Linehan.

The motion plays are going to help us tremendously.

Kellen does a great job at putting complex plays in simple language with simple explanations.

This is going to turn into something great.

Is that not the antithesis of Linehan and what he couldn’t do? My goodness!!

Ty Kellen! You could very well put us into an NFC Championship game and beyond!

It’s very early, we all get that, but my goodness!

After watching this again, I confirmed whoever told me Kellen Moore could not teach Jason Witten anything was talking nonsense.

This guy is going to teach everyone playing for the Cowboys something.

Everyone.

It has me so giddy.

just so cool, literally almost every wr moved at some point....so cool to see.

Yep.

And this is why I said Jason Witten will have 11 TDs in Moore's system. Or at least have more than his personal record, which is 9.

Everyone is going to be so worried at the line about who is doing what, where's Zeke, Gallup, Cobb? . . . then, BOOM, right at Witten for the TD.

Study Moore and you quickly see he knows what he's doing.

I'd put him against anyone I've ever seen in terms of strategy. He really is just that good.. if you dig into him some.

its just incredibly refreshing to see a complex offense that is 100% in sync...i mean i want to see it for a month before i know its totally for real but sure got off to a good start.

Like I said, Moore is a master at simplifying the complexities.

This really isn't his first season in a coaching role.

He was in a coaching role in college, as quarterback. And he's been around this game his whole life.

Gruden was right that he anticipates well.

I think he'll do it so we'll he'll accurately anticipate defensive coordinators' attempts to adjust and game plan for him.

He's smart enough to have a plan for that.

If you listen to him talk, you'll find he sometimes uses motions to peek at which coverage the defense might be in.. things like that.

He seems to have an intuitive anthropological imagination and a love for Xs and Os.

His thinking really is a process.. Not just a mantra.

It’s a spacing technique. It is intentional to make sure the WR is in the right depth. Smaller College teams do it during routes as well, where WRs are supposed to ‘soft screen’ each other’s dB, and they low five to make sure they’re close enough to create the spacing problem.

YEAH thats a much needed style of pre snap activity..the rams have been killing with this last year.they only run a handful of plays. we can still pound when necessary but its a big advantage to be able to keep defenses off balance. NICE

Motion makes the defense have to think and reset their expectations again and again. Even without the final formation having any tricks to it, that puts a mental load on players that's probably always worthwhile.

I like seeing Dak taking snaps under center. Hopefully that happens frequently this year.

And like Gruden said, anytime there's communication, there's miscommunication.

And that's what the offense is attempting to do: capitalize on defensive miscommunication...
