The TD was a blown coverage, and he didn't do anything Beasley couldn't except break the tackle, which I've always said he's better at.

IIRC, you were saying he's some speed threat, who is going to open defenses up over the top. He didn't do that, he worked the underneath stuff. Good effort though.

Lol... I said he will be more effective than Beasley, and that he can be used as a deep threat, which he will, Blown coverage? Lol does it make a difference? Most big plays are blown coverages:rolleyes:. The fact he shown more versatility than Beasley in 1 game got you shook.

Still early wanna give the kid a chance but some here(Mostly the Dak-Mob) proclaimed him to be the 2nd Kamara and NP to replace Zeke.
Ya selling Crazy once again reached peak levels here with Pollard.....

Speaking of Dak, didn't you have an Anti-Dak image in your signature until after game 1?

How did you like that perfect QB rating?

Only 1 of 3 QBs with 30 or more attempts and a perfect QB rating in the past 20 years...

For a team to not have a good D, none of our backs looked good against them. Now we had a top 5 D per this board and SB killed us. Thankfully they were playing from behind, no telling how many yards he would have gathered.

While I don't believe he is anywhere near the back Elliott is, he did remind me of Elliott's first game against the giants in 2016. The kid will get better if he can be patient and wait for his blockers.

From what I understand the Giants are good at stopping the run and not so much the pass. Checks out.

And you said Cobb was probably washed up and essentially Hurns was better.

So you ain't exactly pimping here yourself over Cobb.

If most big plays are blown coverages, then I guess it doesn't matter if you have Cobb or Beas. It does make a difference if you're trying to attribute it to Cobb's skillset.

But no, he wasn't a deep threat, and no, I'm not shook.

Nonsense. No I didn't.

The only thing I ever even remember saying about Cobb is that he's not as good at getting open against man-to-man than Beas, and he's not fast enough to be a deep threat. None of that has changed.

Against a putrid Giants defense, he managed 24 yards on 13 carries. He looked every bit the 4th round pick out of his depth.
:lmao: Neither Zeke or Pollard could run against the Giants who were stacking the box against the run. Come on man.....

Oh you're shook. He does/can do more than Beasley. You might as well admit.

Yes. After the catch. As a receiver, no. Nothing he did Sunday changes that.

To ignore you go.

Wow. Like others said, Pollard's runs were when the game was already decided and Giants knew we were running the ball to kill time.
Funny you didn't question Zeke and his lackluster performance. At least his opportunities came when there was still the element of surprise in the game of what we were doing.

So did Zeke in the first game he played. I am not saying that Pollard is a Zeke, I am saying to give him a couple of games and then bust his kahones (sp). I will be right behind you.....maybe. :)
