O J Simpson in the 70s would have been incredible. If The void between Duane Thomas and Tony Dorsett was filled by OJ Pittsburg would have never won those SBs .

Roger and OJ in the same backfield with our Oline would have been unstoppable OJ may have had 2500 yrds

* what kinda' heartless bass turd ye be , deriving such immense gleefully extracted joy & relishing in the falling forlorn& forsaken tears of an ordained minister in the footballish faith of yer foresworn foe:lmao:

** I'm dialed up& tuned in to yer' frequency, My fellow mo-fo' of COWBOYS FANDOM.

Wrong.

His records will never be even threatened. Most consistent receiver of all time.

Twice as many yards as Michael Irvin.

33 more touchdowns than Emmitt Smith.

224 more receptions than 2nd place.

Averaged 15 yards per reception.

Played 20 seasons.

Won three Super Bowls.

Nobody else is even close.
Yup, kinda like Gretzky and the rest.

This team is probably better from 2005-2009 if Dallas picks Steven Jackson instead of Julius Jones.

Jones was way over estimated early. Got 2 big games in his first 3 starts and 100yds/game his rookie season based on half a season and tons of carries per game.

Agree, recruiting is rolling. Seems like Larry was robbing the university without a gun, Larry along with the former OU QB Sam Bradford should be on the FBI most wanted list for the money they stole. They both put John Dillinger ashame.
I looked Larry at first but his last couple of years were just terrible. From injuries to suspensions it just seemed maybe he lost the locker room. That being said I have so much excitement for this team now and finally our football team might be able to catch up with our basketball team..... Which I can't wait for either

I am going to go with Dan Marino. We got scared away by the false drug rumors and who knows what could have been with Dan wearing the star.

In my own lifetime as a full-time Cowboys fan I am going to say Derrick Brooks. In the 1995 back up draft we traded down with Tampa knowing we needed to still fill linebacker after Ken Norton, Jr. and San Francisco kicked our tails in the 1994 season. Brooks skill set was just what the doctor order and a long line of 1990 mishaps in drafting like passing on Randy Moss for Greg Ellis.

Randy Moss.

My dad was stationed in England so I was overseas monitoring the draft on dial-up internet and a six or seven hour time difference.

Was highly disappointed to see “Greg Ellis” pop up on the screen.

That was an interesting one. Usually when you miss on a player the guy you take is a bust. Ellis was a very good player. Problem is Randy Moss is a HOFer.

Joe Namath.

For those too young to remember, Broadway Joe nearly transcended the game in the 1960s.

Can you imagine the Jerry & Joe Show in today’s sports/media world?
