Honestly the kid should've been guided by his parents to stand back like everyone else was. Wasn't the kid's fault, but it also wasn't Tank's fault. But also it's not that big of a deal. Yeah the kid was upset and nobody wants to see the kid upset but it's not like DLaw was actually mean to him, "get the right jersey son" was appropriate imo. It wasn't mean spirited where the kid will actually be effected by it.

The kid's parents set him up for failure by sending him to the opposing team to do their dirty work so they can turn around and sell that autograph.

You have no idea how I raised my kids. Grown up, responsible, caring, giving and hard working. You still don't get it. Children fans should be off limits, including opposing teams children fans. When an opposing child fan excitedly asks for a simple autograph, D-Law should have gladly and wisely given it. It would have done wonders for D-Law, the Cowboys and especially that young child. To argue this as wrong shows you simply don't get it and probably never will. Sad.

Way too much.
Cowboy FO locates the family. Sends a signed DLaw jersey to the kid with a note saying, "Sorry kid, you caught me at a bad time earlier. Here's the "right jersey" and hope you become a fan of Americas Team". Enough said and done.
And of course when that leaks out, your going to have future security issues with kids (with parents videoing them) running past barriers to get autographs.

I agree. That kid would have never forgotten the day he got his autograph. Would have affected his life positively. NOW....he will have some resentment in his heart towards Dallas. Terrible choice by DLAW. I am a dad, and I am pretty strict...but what a ****** move by him. Like the guy,I really do, but seems like his celebrity has changed him. That's too bad.
