Well, it does not matter how much info you collect, Dak has to make the right decision based on that info. He was very good at that Sunday. He really has put in the work.

He has made a lot of progress in that area since early last year.

No, no.

It does matter.

Dak is one of the people collecting information. So he can make a better pre-snap read, which helps him execute better.

If the NFL schedule makers had swapped this game and the New England game, sending us to NE for the Sunday night kickoff, would half of the posts on the front page exist?

It's tough to get one over on Bellichick but Miami hit them with that new play that was all the rage for a few years. I forget the name of it now. Since some of the plays were designed to counter the predictability of years past maybe we could have gotten one over on the Patriots in week 1. They are going to have plenty of time to see what Moore's all about so I don't think we'll have the element of surprise.

edit: I was thinking of the wildcat.

Its almost as if there a certain percentage of fans that ONLY watch the Cowboys and no other teams on Sunday.
For sure, I’m absolutely convinced of that and I think it’s a very high percentage. There’s people that still think our O line was trash last year but can’t name me ten teams that were better. There’s people that thought the Giants defense would be good and still think it was all play calling. There’s people that think Zeke is the best (I know that’s debatable) but have barely seen any of the other top RB’s run.

It’s pretty obvious who those people are.

Not necessarily saying it would have been 33-3 (though it very well may have been or even worse), and Moore might have fared ok. But I doubt there would be as many occurrences of “Moore” and “genius” as there are now.

Whats sad is that there is nothing brilliant about it. Its being done across the league. It only seems like a miracle or bright idea here in Dallas because Garrett was so far behind the times.

Voch has been defending Garrett too since he started making video's and is one of those that blames execution and ignores how predictable and vanilla we were.

I'm sure he'll be pom pom'ing Kellen Moore now and the wrinkles he's throwing in that don't make us so vanilla.

So now he’s been elevated to genius? Lol, the over reaction of Cowboys fans is awesome!

When you have been watching a linehan offense all of these years I can see how some would make that leap. Its the difference between checkers and 3D chess. :D
