I don't think this is fair, especially to compare him to Chido and Byron.
Just against the Giants...he had 27 coverage snaps, but that stat doesn't say how many times he had perfect coverage. And it also doesn't mention the fact that he's covering...I don't even know who. Scrubs lol.
The numbers are probably a lot different if he's covering top WRs. I like Lewis, but this is kind of a reach.

Well, I don't know if he is the best CB on the roster because I don't think Richard will give him the chance to prove it but I do think he has the most talent. Better ball skills than either Jones or Awuzie.
By the way, I love him in the slot and think that Richard uses him the best way for the team!

I've said he's one of thee most underrated players on this team that gets a bad rap from many fans for his height because that doesn't fit Richards type of player as a corner....

That pass breakup was awesome especially when you remember the dark days of corners not turning their head looking for the ball or running stride for stride with the receiver and the receiver catching it because the dB made no attempt to bat the ball down

Minimal size difference between Lewis and Brown.
Similar arm length & weight, Brown 1 (one) inch taller.
Size is not the reason Lewis is not in the top 3 rotation when everyone is healthy.

I don't think we have to worry about losing Lewis, because we're going to lose Byron Jones. I don't see any way Jones isn't an odd man out in free agency. You can't sign every good to great player, and after Dak and Amari's deals, there isn't going to be room for Jones.
