But the title "dink and dunker" inferred that's ALL that he can do, that the offense is set up that way because Dak can't throw long accurately, has a weak arm, etc.
Yes this was only one game, but by making the long accurate throws, etc. he shows he's capable of doing that, and the "dink and dunk" offense was maybe just the way Garrett/Linehan wanted it, regardless of Dak's abilities.

Not an overreaction to one game, just noticing that "hey, he can make some long accurate throws"...

Even the most notorious dink and dunkers make the occasional long throw. Alex Smith has a career YPA well below average at 6.9, but out of nowhere finished at 8.0 in 2017 (2nd in the NFL). He went right back down again the next year.
Dak is like an overweight 7 foot center who banks in a desperation half courter at the buzzer. He made a three; it doesn’t make him a three point shooter.

ofcourse Dak wants a 4 year deal and Jerry doesnt,he has experience with Romo contracts.

Well we'll see, but even if he does, that doesn't mean he can be a SB winning quarterback...

Some people take a stance and just can't admit they may be wrong. I used to be like that in my younger days, but learned that being wrong is ok, not the end of the world, life goes on. Dak is a good QB, not elite but above average to real good. He can win us a Super Bowl with this team.

Given the circumstances back when we drafted Dak, and with Romo as our full fledged starter...what QB would you taken? or would you keep adding scrub veteran QB’s like Weeden and Cassell every year? Cowboy fans should be very fortunate that we got Dak and he has earned every bit of what Goff and Wentz got.
