Along the way, he absorbed an incredible amount of offensive football knowledge and understands how to make a passing game more efficient and effective. This was really interesting when I watched it in 2015 while I wished Kellen would get a chance to play over Matt Cassell and Brandon Weeden.

I spent a good bit of time studying Kellen Moore this off-season. That includes this interview and studying his Boise St. games as well as some stories about him designing plays as a kid.

I think it was an extremely safe bet that he would be a very good NFL Offensive Coordinator.

The only question was when. Would it happen in year 1 or would it take longer.
