He took a pretty good lick from the defender that interfered with him. Since he wasn't expecting it, it could have caused a concussion.

They brought up Cedric Wilson instead of Covington from the practice squad to replace Austin.

Devin Smith has just as much speed and more size. He looked like he could add something if you go by the preseason. I think he would be great from the slot. He can take Austin's snaps

Not surprised. Reading some of the replies would give anybody a concussion!

that sounds nasty. I got one in a game in Arkansas on a kickoff and all i saw was stars lots and lots of stars but never came out of the game nor reported it to anyone. This was in the 70's a different time in sports where you just sucked it up and played till you couldn't.

Give Devin Smith some plays

Him and Dak were supposedly money at that "over the shoulder" breadbasket play at the end of training camp, that Dak hit Cooper and Gallup on last game.

Pick a spot, Commanders secondary was burnt toast last game. That'd be a great story and team thing too, after all that time rehabbing, working, training he comes out and actually helps crush the Commander's defense. Dude's got serious speed, good game to give him some snaps.

Didn't he lower his head and initiate some contact on his one grab? Am I remembering the wrong person? Either way, this is not the team you want to be missing reps on. The Cowboys have way too much talent at that spot. You'll find yourself left behind pretty quick.

That said, I hope he's OK and has a speedy recovery.
