I was about to say the same thing. Why are they broadcasting the Cowboys game? What about the NFL rules regarding home games in the home market? I was planning on going to someone's house that had Direct TV and the Sunday ticket, but I guess I don't have to now. :)
Houston is an afc team which is on cbs, fox does the cowboys, so they can both be on at same time.
however where I live they never show houston game or any other game on cbs opposite the cowboys.
just me but I think both houston and dallas games should be on for most in texas.
if it is at the same time, well thats how it goes pick one.

Vikings Packers at noon and Bears Broncos at 3:25. YUCK!!! Thank goodness I have Sunday Ticket U. It went well last week. Isn't the best quality but it's like $20 a month. Worked 99% of the day. Both Commander games, Detroit, and Miami for probably the only games I won't get locally. Did you all see Dallas beat the two primetime NBC games last week in ratings? They are gold at that 3:25 slot.

What's it going to be then, eh?

And if you watch the entire game streaming what difference does it make that it's a little behind the actual "live"? If that's the worst thing to happen to me the rest of my life I've got it made!!!!!!!!!
.
If you are interacting with others that are watching it live it can be irritating.

But thank you for bringing up the poster child for this chill generation.

I will put it to you simply. That comment told me that Tony Romo was content at being a loser.

The Arizona Cardinals continue to be the reason I have to keep shelling out cash for Sunday Ticket.

No, you don't have to shell out anything. Get rid of Sunday ticket . Use Redditt and watch any game you want. Connect the laptop to your big Tv and enjoy it.

I already knew I wouldn’t get the Boys for the first three weeks, I am using the Ticket app on my iPad and chrome casting it to TV. Last week during the early games the darn think lost connection every 15-20 minutes I sure hope they fix it this week all. Had to do was select another game then go back and it worked

Yatzee! Two weeks in a row post dropping Sunday Ticket and both games are on....so much cheaper...

Where do you live? I’m in Virginia and I’m expecting all 16 games to be on regular tv. Most games are national TV games or the late Sunday game which 80% of the country gets due to ratings. The only conflict comes if they play at the same time as the skins which I don’t think they do all season except when they actually play the skins. I dropped Sunday ticket 3 years ago because I realized all but 1-2 Dallas games were on TV here every year anyway.

I dont think I believe in this run D yet and I do believe AP will be showing the world he can still play.

If Zeke outruns him it wont be by much.

Why in SW Florida, do they have the Vikings-Packers game, unlike the rest of Florida that has Dallas-Washington?

Yes.

Hopefully OBX has recovered from the hurricane. Should be fine
LOVE IT out there.

i had a wedding to attend this past Saturday in Wilmington NC, right by Wrightsville Beach. we thought it might be postponed. turned out completely fine, Wrightsville barely had any damage (that i could see, anyway). i'd bet OBX is ok.

All the way out on Hatteras, they took in a lot of water, but I assume it has subsided by now. They are so much further out to sea than Wilmington and the eye went right over them. But only a Cat1

ah, interesting. last Monday the thought was Wilmington was going to get hit hard.
i've never looked at a map of the OBX towns. didn't realize Hatteras was way down and out there.

It's really unusual. by far the closest to the continental shelf of anywhere on the east coast...which is why deep seas fishing is so amazing and easy to get to there.
It goes from a few hundred feet deep to nearly 9000' deep real quick. Warm water (gulf stream) close to shore.
Hurricanes love it.
Buxton is village right at the Cape.
That's all water between Swan Quarter and Buxton.

Anyway. pretty cool place.
