Would definitely do that in a heartbeat. If you’re done with him and not going to play him, then get something for him. That would free up a spot for Quinn coming back and next year you have Jelks, Wise, and possibly Gregory vying at DE. Take that 5th if it’s actually true. They will need all the draft picks they can get as they hand out more and more big contracts.

Let's not get too optimistic about what Taco would bring in a trade. If a trade gets done at all, it may just end up being for a draft pick.

Yes, Maher makes me nervous, and I'm biased in his favor because he's a Cornhusker. Husker or not, I don't have the confidence in him that I would prefer. We were spoiled when we had Bailey on his A game.

Yeah, it sucks but it was a bad pick from the beginning and sometimes you just have to cut bait. They need a spot for Quinn and if they don’t trade or cut Taco, they have to lose some other young talented player.

With the way teams will do anything to justify keeping a first round pick rather than admit an evaluation error, Charlton must be an absolute disaster behind the scenes for them to be leaking information about him leaving the roster one way or another.
