He's not going to be worth much...I say anything higher than a 4th rounder would be a steal but most likely, all teams would give up is a late rounder.

Good lord you're a self-righteous **** - no wonder you have 50k posts, you can't go into a single thread without having to tell everyone there you're smarter than they are

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to do here, because I give two ***** what you think.

Like I've said, not everybody goes the 'brainless fan' route the way that you do. If you don't like that? Guess what? Too bad!

It's amazing to me that you'll put so much time and energy into this, looking so bad in the process, while attacking me and trying to defend the Cowboys, while they turn a 1st round pick into nothing.

Well done!

With so much mention of it for the past few weeks, and nothing actually happening, I think the team is truly struggling to drum up any sort of a market for him at all.

Their intentions couldn't be more obvious if they hung up a 'For Sale' sign out front of the Star.

I really am not a taco fan i think we missed on it that one but I would throw him in the lineup and see what we get. It looked like something was clicking in preseason

I agree, and think about this:

What level of a "bar" was set by the guys that did play against the Giants on Sunday?

I'll provide a visual hint to anyone struggling to answer:

There's your first mistake. Who drafted him over TJ Watt? Oh yeah, the same dummies whose judgment you now want to trust.

They see Crawford too. Yet they not only keep him, they're paying him $10 million to be flat out terrible. But you go right ahead and "trust their judgment".

When you're not dreaming up trades for kickers...
The same dummies that have hit on every 1st rounder except taco and Claiborne for the last 10 years! I’m trust them in player acquisition because they’ve proven they can do that. Crawford isn’t “flat out terrible” is he great definitely not but he can play inside and outside... 10 mil is very average starting DE pay...

But they clearly haven't proven infallible or beyond question the way some fans would like to treat them. Trying to dump Taco for anything they can get after just two years is a huge bust.

What exactly is he doing "outside" other than giving up 60 yard runs? When has his last sack come from there? For that $10 million, "very average" salary?

His play at RDE, his off-field conduct, and his bloated contract are an epic failure.

The guy didn't even register a single tackle on Sunday.

Crawford is playing out of position. He may have been a 4-3 DE coming out of college but he was signed to his current contract to be a 3t. The team has a "glut" at that position and until quinn gets back they really only have pass rushing DE that play the RDE but suck at playing the run.

I want Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins.. Don’t know if that’s possible.
Has had public issues with the coaching staff about playing SS. Feels like he’s a corner and his mom even called the coaches out.

Sorry he’s not anyone’s fix at SS. He’s not even that good at it if you look at his rankings

"Fitzpatrick will be a bargain for a team in need of a versatile defender that can play both safety and cornerback. According to OverTheCap.com's Jason Fitzgerald, Fitzpatrick has already received about 64 percent of his rookie contract, meaning that whoever trades for him will only owe him a little more than a third of his rookie deal.

The 6-foot-2, 202-pound defensive back starred at the University of Alabama prior to being drafted by the Dolphins. A two-time national champion, Fitzpatrick, a captain on Alabama's 2017 national championship team, was a unanimous All-American that season along with being the recipient of the Bednarik and Thorpe awards.

As a rookie, Fitzpatrick appeared in each of Miami's 16 games, making 11 starts. He recorded 80 tackles while intercepting two passes and breaking up nine more" - cbssports.com

Only pass rushers at DE but can't play the run???

If they are only good at 1 then it's playing the run. Crawford is a good run defender at DE. His pass rushing at DE is where he is limited. Joe Jackson and Armstrong are also the run defense type base DE with some pass rush ability. Randy Gregory is the more typical pass rushing RDE but he is not available. Taco is more base DE than pass rusher.

Crawford is a backup quality DL. He just isn't fast enough for de and too small right now for dt. Except on pass downs. 10 million a year is a high crime against the salary cap . He's worth 4 max. More like about 2 looking at his play on Sunday. As a matter of fact, if Gregory came back and Quinn, I'd trade him in a heart beat for a 2050 7th rounded to anyone that wanted him. How he doesn't get asked to reduce salary is beyond my understanding. This guy has caught Jerry, or one of his family doing something like murder or worse to keep getting that contract year after year. I thought ratliffe had done us wrong the worst. Crawford makes his theft of salary look like nothing. He will go down as the most over paid player in cowboy history. Unless dak gets 40 mill a year. Lol

I think we need to upgrade with Crawford to someone who just fits the system a little better. Crawford isn’t a bad player or overpaid for sure but he’s never been a great fit here. Just my 2 cents
