How would you defeat the Cowboys if you were Jay Gruden?

Forcing Dak into turnovers is probably their only chance. Commanders' defense aren't good in the open field, the line of scrimmage is their only chance to win this game. If Dak starts getting comfortable throwing them like darts out there, we win.

If I was Gruden, I would make the skins defense be extremely aggressive. Their defense is actually above average to begin with so I would expect them to take some chances. They will probably try to make this a slower, uglier game. Try to keep it a first team to 20 wins kind of game. Lots of aggressive blitz packages.

Otherwise if the skins play it safe, they’re going to get rolled. (And they hopefully get rolled anyway!) So I expect Gruden to be aggressive on D, try to run the ball and mix short passes with an occasional gadget play. Maybe even a fake punt or on-sides kickoff.

I still say we win, but I expect a desperate divisional rival at home to be tough. We win something like 20-17 or 24-21.

On offense: try to get your running game going ala Rams. Play action for some deep shots to your speed WRs. ( they were open last week vs Philly)

On defense: I think they sit in a cover 3 zone and see if they can contain Zeek and the passing game to a reasonable amount. Throw some blitz packs in to mix it up.

Copy what the Rams did to the Cowboys in the playoffs.

Pay Trent Williams to return.

Give the Cowboys 3 first round picks for CB Jourdan Lewis to replace Josh Norman.

Take the Cowboys OLine out drinking the night before the game.

Sneak out the back door and take a job with his brother in Oakland.

It wouldn't matter what i did because if i was Jay Gruden i would probably find a way to beat myself. He is a terrible coach if you ask me
