All i can say is Cooper Cobb gallop and beasely woulda been a lethal 10 personell group.

When are we gonna run some 10 personell and bench the tes on passing plays? We can stick a fork in this te core. D.O.N.E.

There isnt any talent at the te position and we simply cant leave better rbs and slot wrs on the bench on passing plays. What did playing Hanna and Escobar on all those 12 personell group passing snaps ever net us on paper.

You simply cant win when your offense is designed around a 4 td a year te core who is dominating all the passing snapcounts but arent producing their benchmarks STATISTICALLY
??? If they use the TEs properly, which Moore seems to know how to do, they're indispensable.

These tes are checkdowners who cant score against any good defenses or above .500 clubs going back for years. 1 playoff td in 16 years. Its not a winning tradition Runwildboys.

You can run a bunch of presnap motions but the results were 3 plays for 15 yards. We'll see what kinda avgs they get this week but its gonna rest on the wrs and rbs to win games. These tes dont have any SAUCE

Use Pollard or the 4th wrs but leave this scrub te core on the bench at least half the time.

Points win games, not yards. They had 2 TDs in week one, because of play designs meant to take advantage of their abilities. Witten just knows how to get open and Jarwin has the ability to make big plays.

Or the sorry giants defender slipped on a Bannana peel. Talent didnt generate those scores. Totally blown coverages did. Scheme scoring nets ya about 4-5 tds a year. That aint squat for a te core

Good stuff from Beasley but when teammates speak of Prescott it is never about skill set or tangible things. It is always about his intangibles.

I want to read or hear a WR or DB or anyone describe him as cerebral, "can make every throw", "knows defenses cold", etc. I was hoping to read that from Beasley. Prescott's development is the most important thing for the Cowboys especially since they will be committing an unprecedented amount of resources on the QB position.

Anyway...good to read that a former teammate sees special qualities in the QB.
I think in general that’s how people talk about QBs they admire. The intangibles are really what separate the outstanding ones from those that aren’t. People talked a lot about the physical skills of guys like Jeff George and Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell, but they were all missing the intangibles. That’s not to say physical skills aren’t also important, but it takes something more to elevate a QB from athlete to offensive leader/field general/coach on the field.

Anytime anyone talks about Witten, his name is preceded by the phrase, "future Hall of Famer". You don't get that by having a lack of talent. Agree to disagree.

I mean, look at the example he used. It was Romo's huddle and Prescott took it as his own.

Sure. He'd do the same with your car too.

That's the best thing he can say about him. He takes things that aren't his.

Your post quality has been exponentially increasing as Dak’s play gets better.

Bless your heart.

Thats fine, as long as one of them is someone's Lombardi trophy soon.

I think what people miss is that “talent” comes in different forms, and isn’t limited to the guys that run the fastest or jump the highest or throw the farthest. “Talent” also includes things like instincts and eye/hand coordination and soft hands and mental toughness. Jerry Rice, for example, was never big or fast relative to other receivers, but he is considered the best ever at his position. Emmitt Smith is another good example of that.

#82 didnt have the open rate catch rate or scoring rate per snap as Beasely. Plus Beasely singlehandedly won us games at critical moments. #82 used to be great. Hes D.O.N.E. 3 catches for 15 yards against the sorriest team in the league on 43 snaps is subpar. His little 3 yard td aint squat. Had that been a good defense you could erase both of those Tds. They cant carry the load as receivers. They will go Awol at scoring.

So youre telling me youd rather see the mistake prone jarwin and the old slow witten dominating passing snaps over any wr or rb on this team.

Wheres all this he always seems to get open hooplah coming from. 3 catches for 15 yards is not proof of that at all.

He gets a few catches per game for 20 yards but thats playing every passing snap. If I played every passing snap i could get 3 catches for 15 yards. Lol

I get it but still want to hear about his skill set at times. That's all.
