he was a candidate to come here , rumor's said if brees retired , he could leave and the DC were his first choice..

Did he really hit the nail on the head? What evidence do we have that Payton was a candidate to coach the Cowboys?
It only got talked about on every football s game show, pre game shows, and news articles last year. That's why it's relevant. Now is it 100% true? Who knows? But there was definitely a lot of smoke last year

you just saw how great he is today as soon as Brees went down. Most of these coaches are judged based upon the qb play. How did the chiefs go from mediocr offense to jaugernauts in one season? Did andy Reid take some extra head coaching classes in the off season? because ill be damned if he is not now the 2nd comiing of vince lombardi.

A rumor, especially a media one, isn’t evidence of anything except the media finding something they can sell to a public that is eager to bite whatever bait they toss out in the water. This is why the media is so untrustworthy - there are always people that love a good soap opera, so facts aren’t necessary.
