Hate the Commanders. My wounds run deep. I'll never forget Theisman and Riggins. They really gave us some tough times.

It was a great environment there today... for Cowboys fans. My section was about 70% Cowboys fans, but I'd say the stadium in general was 50/50. It's been years since I've been there for a game, but it has definitely gone downhill as a venue. Massive sections of upper deck are covered to make it seem like the stadium isn't as empty. The standing room areas look miserable compared to the party decks in Dallas. By halftime the concession stands around us has run out of water bottles and my only option was buying a $16!!!! can of beer.

Yeah, the good stuff between Dallas Washington was before your time.
This hasn't been a real rivalry since the last time the Commanders won the Super Bowl. We went on a run on that team like no one's business from about 98 forward. The head to head records were relatively close for a good amount of our rivalry but we've just taken it to that team so many times over the past 20 years.

That's why they act like they won the Super Bowl every time they beat us. It just doesn't happen very often.

Their stadium sucks, their food is on the low end of edible, but their fans are outright beaten down. You can literally feel a physical manifestation of the words "hopeless" and "misery" walking past a group of Commander fans. I was decked out in my gear and no one said a word to me. Granted, I'm a big guy at 6'4", 275, but I almost feel sorry for Commander fans. They truly have lost hope.
I rejoice in their misery!

My buddy met Joe Gibbs at a race in Indy a few weeks ago. He won THREE Super Bowls. Heck of a coach.

Lol oh I agree. Met him 3x. Wonderful man and great coach but I was little in rural Virginia wearing a Cowboys jacket. They were good then and bigger kids threatrned to beat me up all the time. I felt like such a loser...

Then the 90s happened and haven't heard much from them since. Still have some PTSD though. Lol

I was also there, every Commanders fan I talked to was super friendly. Tons of Cowboys fans, felt like a home game. Stadium itself wasn't any worse than I expected it was nice if you had low expectations and the food did suck plus places kept running out of water and the lines were nuts. Then to get out you had to walk a mile to rideshare and none of the uber or lyft drivers wanted to pick you up.

It's been downhill for them since January 1992.

I will say they are gracious fans. I live here and went to a Glory Days sports bar. Had field day..lol

I live in Maryland and grew up in NY.

I will take a conversation with a Skins fan anytime vs any of our other rival's. They are a class group overall. Honestly.
