Having an appreciation for Dak's ability has nothing to do with fandom, just having open eyes

Oh, I think I see now. When you made the post I quoted, you were saying they're just pretending to like him now?
I am NOT referring to people who are saying they like him. But people who are still hating on him. That with what he's doing on the field having changed so much. For them to be making the same arguments they have been, invalidates anything from them. And it is nonsensical in the extreme.

I am weary of people continuing to go after Dak even after two brilliant games. Let it rest. Your true colors are showing. You are a non fan. Please stay off the bandwagon. The Cowboys are awfully good. And are going to win a lot of games. You don't get to nonsensically attack someone and then start liking them.

I'm confused about the "bandwagon" line and the last line of your first post, if you're NOT referring to the people saying they like him. If you like, we can just drop this whole discussion. It seems like you're getting upset, which wasn't my intention.

No, no, I am not getting upset. Not with you at all. I think we just have an honest misunderstanding. The other fellow seems to be missing my point on purpose and so yes, that is frustrating. And the guy who said to close the thread, completely missed the point of it.
About the bandwagon jumping. The point was that after 2 near perfect games there are still a bunch of people hating on Dak. Figuring out ways to still heap on him. That shows me that they are haters and not being honest. To THOSE people, I suggested that the Cowboys are going to be awfully good and to not suddenly start liking them when you have shown your true colors. I put a smiley face emoticon. I was reacting to some really nasty conversations going on here, and after such a beautiful game.

Of course people will do what they please. But arguing that hate filled posts are not hateful. And then turning around and figuring out ways to continue to make hateful posts, even when the performance on the field proves otherwise, is not being a fan, it is being hateful for the sake of being hatful. Maybe you have not seen the posts today. But there are people saying they will not like Dak as the quarterback of the Cowboys no matter what. So...

No one is losing sleep over someone else regarding them as a bad fan. And I don’t quite understand how tracking negative remarks and fighting this good fight provides utility. For me, there are bigger fish to fry.

But if policing against this unspeakable evil moves you to action, I say go for it, my man. For this, we will probably end up owing you a debt we may never be able to repay.

No that had nothing to do with this post.

Personally I don't expect perfection, what I expect is Dak leading this team and making plays to help his team win. Dak looks very comfortable running this offense and has been putting up the points. Dallas did not just beat NY and Wash, they dominated them and I have not seen them executing like this in a while. Cowboys in past season have shot themselves in the foot and games like these went down to the wire

I think that if you are able to look at this game, if you get an opportunity to review the all 22, you will see that Dak made some mistakes in this game. It was not a terrible game by any means but there are certainly things to work on in this game. Dak came down to earth a little bit but that's not a bad thing IMO.
Every QB makes mistakes during a game.

Yeah, I for one believe the criticisms of Dak were legitimate concerns. He looks like he has fixed them by seeing the field better and changing this throwing motion. He is definitely playing at another level now and we should all be grateful for it.
Some were but most weren’t.

Dak has improved greatly over the course of the last two years. There were times from the middle of the 2017 season and the beginning of last year I began to worry about him. He appeared indecisive, inaccurate, and at times he was careless with the ball.

But wow.....once Cooper arrived, his confidence has soared. His accuracy has improved. I think Moore has confidence in him too. Linehan seemed afraid to really let Dak cut it loose. Dak has really turned a corner here.

My main problem with Dak has always been his throwing mechanics. Dak has always been elite in the leadership and intangibles department. He has finally improved his mechanics and he finally has a great play caller/offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore. Only a hater with an agenda ( cough cough bitter Romo groupies) will continue hating. You can't ignore an MVP caliber QB when you see one.

I have been rather negative about Dak since joining this site but its hard to argue with what is going on. He had some fantastic passes today, has had few bad reads and his running is a big asset as always. Dak has been an elite QB so far this year.

Where I would probably argue is that I think that Dak is improved. This isn't the same Dak as before. His release is quicker and he is hitting people perfectly quite often.

I'm not going to jump fully on the bandwagon yet because the Skins and Gints seem like expansion teams but its certainly encouraging.

You need to learn the magic of the compound sentence.

Everybody can clearly see Dak playing well right now. He and Moore have a good thing going here.

But it's also very possible that Dallas are about to be 3-0 against teams that are a combined 0-9.

The real season begins in New Orleans.
