If they cared about player safety as much as they claim to, then yes.
if that is the case, football should just be banned. People are grown men and when they are medically cleared to play..... the choice should always be the individuals.

The W just got easier, 2 of their best players down and a scrub for a QB. Typical for the Commanders.
He sticks foot in mouth again. Keenum is not a scrub. He’s no Dak but he can hurt you if he has time.

Why not let the individual play without medical clearance? Why is medical clearance even necessary?

It's necessary because players will risk permanent damage in order to play, and the league has an obligation to act in the best interest of its players health.


That's 7 documented concussions up to August 27th of this year. Last week makes 8.

Medically cleared or not, if the intent is to look after the best interest of the player, Jordan Reed wouldn't play another snap.
