We have four WR that can produce like any # 1 in the league, if they get enough targets.

Cooper. Cobb. Gallup. Smith. So this offense will be just fine as long as Dak is under center and Zeke is in the backfield.

I'm actually pumped about Devin Smith.'

Going back and looking at the type of guy he was at Ohio State has me excited.

He is perfect for the Kellen Moore offense. I just think he's another guy that will toast 1 on 1 coverage.

He is the real deal.

I think he looks normal. Dak just spreads the ball around so much that I'm not sure he'll ever have a WR consistently putting up huge numbers. Good for us, bad for fantasy owners.

For the first 2 weeks, our #1 WR Amari Cooper has looked a little sluggish at times, not as crisp or as fast as last year, plus he's dropped quite a few passes that have hit him square in his hands. Has missing a big chunk of training camp and preseason, due to a heel injury, slowed him down that much? Any word if he's fully healthy? Is anyone worried in case Gallup's MRI on his knee shows a serious injury that might cost him some time off?
It's Dak's fault. Lol!!

I think you answered your on question. And no I do not think he is fully healthy has their was a report last week about something to do with his injury bothering him or flaring up. I do not remember the actual report but he claimed to be ok, so yes I think something is still there. As for as being worried, at this point know as good teams must play “next man up” and I think if he is injured, we will see how good the new OC and this team is.

Coop has been an inconsistent WR most of his career. He's really good, at times and not so good at other times. As long as Gallup, Cobb and Smith are opposite of him, we have enough WR depth regardless of how he does at any one time. Him just being out there will cause teams to play us differently compared to him not being out there.

wasn't that what he did in Oakland?

supposedly it was a bad rap with him in Oakland. but when he came here in the trade we saw nothing that indicated dropsies issues.

while he has had a minor issues with dropsies, he did miss some time this summer with the heel injury, but he's still producing substantially with catches; both short, slot and downfield
and he's scoring TDs for us, he's still been a big factor in our scoring outbreak and vastly improved passing attack.
Another key is to keep him involved early in games so he doesn't brood and let it affect his focus.

No chance is he 100%, not sure he can be right now with his type of injury...just having him on the field gives our other WR'S and Zeke room to do what they need to do
