listening to troy today was a joke. He kept saying how he wasnt getting no help.

So you telling me those talented players just forgot how to play when Teddy came in? This is nothing new.... everytime weve seen a HOF qb go down, Rodgers, Ben, now Brees just like that, the rest of the offense SUCKS. Cmon troy... Bridgewater is just a guy, and Brees makes others HOFers.

My trip to NO might be a little easier.
Troy is losing it.

They say that Dak is only successful because of the weapons he has around him. And yet Bridgewater had the same weapons as Brees did and the Saints O doesn't look anywhere near as good as they do with Brees.

He is going to make the Cowboy defense look good.

:p

Sure would seem that way. It looked to me like everyone knew it was broken. He didn't even attempt to grip or throw a football after it happened. If Brees is done, so are the Saints.

Stepping in for Brees with no practice reps against the Rams front, I thought he did ok. He didn´t get any help.
He actually played pretty dang good IMHO. His WR's dropped several good passes of his. TB is a good QB.

All I know is Teddy was a helluva QB at Louisville. He was certainly deserving of a 1st round pick. The NFL hasn’t been good for him with injuries and struggling to acclimate to the next level. Dak has done everything Teddy B (and most top pick QBs) have struggled to do. But he’s still young, so you never know with the way this league recycles QBs. Obviously, we’re all glad Dak is Cowboy....

I think Teddy transitioned well to the nfl considering he was brought in and setup by a coaching staff that all got fired for being inept.

I don’t disagree with many the posters here and I’m not a Bridgewater fan, but..

To be fair.. the Saints game plan obviously included Drew Brees and his style of play. And it’s terribly obvious Teddy isn’t anything remotely close to the QB Brees is. That’s not to throw shade at Bridgewater as it’s more a ‘tip of the hat’ at how good Brees has been and is.

That said, Sean Peyton is a good HC too. I’ll reserve my opinion ab how Bridgewater played last night. He obviously could have been better. Peyton has always coached with extra incentive when game planing against our boys. You better believe.. He will coach to Bridgewater’s strengths and throw wrinkles in his game plan, which honestly worries me more.

Be careful what you wish for and don’t under estimate the Saints in the dome. It will not be a cake walk. We have been warned. P.s.- I’ll be just fine if I’m wrong.
