How good do we think the 2-0 Cowboys are?

It’s being widely discussed with our two dominating offensive performances against two of our division rivals that we are one of the best teams in the league at this point.

How good are we? And can we really measure up with the opponents we’ve faced?

Are we as good or better than the 2-0 Rams? The 2-0 Packers, Seahawks or 49ers right now in NFC?

How about the 2-0 Patriots, Chiefs or Ravens?

I’d suggest we tone down the rhetoric until we beat someone with a winning record. We’re off to a good start. It’s been fun but I’d be careful becoming too full of ourselves just yet.

The Cowboys can beat anybody if they stay healthy. The team is loaded with talent across the board, and they are getting better coaching.

We need to earn a bye. 12 wins should do it and I think it’s achievable.

None of us know yet. Two games is 1/8th of the season. Love our start and I’m genuinely excited. But adversity is always what measures a team. We haven’t had any adversity yet, so IMO it’s too early to start pronouncing final records or who we match up with in the playoffs, lol. I know it’s what fans do...but it’s too early to know much.

Yea but would they beat any of those. That’s still to be determined. Only then will we have a better feel for this team.

Each game is a test of how good a team is. Dallas can only play the teams on their schedule each week. As fans, we speculate the " the what ifs". We are what our record indicates, a 2-0 team. Next week we play a team that appears dreadful. the Patriots were relentless with Miami's complete annihilation. Dallas should also try to play a complete game and destroy what appears to be an inferior team while also garnering playing time for all 46 players on the roster. Then the teams play the Saints, which is a team loaded with talent that has lost their starting QB.

Dallas has to be meticulous with their game preparation for each of these two teams. The team needs to clean up their mistakes and improve their areas of weakness which at this time seems to be the D-line, J Smith and LVE

This team is very good. We may have 4 Pro Bowlers on our OL this year. Our secondary is playing fast and physical. Our QB is putting up career numbers thus far. Elliott has silently, but efficiently, been productive. Our game plan does not appear to be telegraphed anymore. We have receivers that are schemed open and winning on routes. We have solid TE play for the time being. I have some criticisms here and there, but I'm overall pleased with what I've seen in two weeks.

The DL needs to get going and we will be hard to stop.

I'd suggest that we be euphorically happy that we look so competent on O, like we haven't looked for years upon years, and that Gallup has emerged as a major force and that old man Witten can still do it!!!!!!!!

It's not the wins, it's not the point totals, it's not anything like that. It's how we're winning. Better routes, better motion, more competent running attack. Man, if you can't see the difference, you're just turning a blind eye to the obvious.

Here's the counter to your suggestion, Greg: Take the blinders off and join in the fun and extreme competence being displayed, w/ much hope for the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too early to tell, but I like what I see. Just hope we can keep up the momentum and peak at the right time.

I’m enjoying it Kevin. Just a pump on the brakes until we perform like this against contenders.

The offense is elite. The defense is average. I am concerned because sooner or later we will play an elite defense who will stymie our offense. Good defenses usually slow down good offenses. If our defense continues to give up 20 points, a real good defense can shut our offense down to 17 points and we lose.

To me, the year goes as far as the defense goes. Right now, the defense is underwhelming.

It's really hard to tell this early. But the offense looks sharp, that's not a bad thing no matter who we play. It has the 2007 feel to it. If some of these other teams are any better I don't think the gap is that big.

No ....... It does no matter how much the fan base celebrate.

I hate these "everyone better calm down and concentrate on our next opponent" bullcrap.

We are a bunch of fans talking online to each other ...... We are not the team, we do not have to prepare for anything or keep ourselves from getting to excited.

Celebrate as much as you want people ....... These clowns who tell you different are just cowards who are scared to get disappointed.

Greggo, I hope you’re open to admitting Dak is better than a bus driver. A lot of the criticism that he’s just average at best is being destroyed every week.

I know he needs to consistently show it now, but this is his 4th year and he’s still only 26. I’ve been amazed at how many Dak critics acted like he was 36 instead of 26. This kid has worked his butt off to be better. He deserves a ton of credit.

Barring injuries to or suspensions of key players, I bet we get through the first round of the playoffs. After that, who knows?
