A lot of shade being thrown around about D Law

DLaw has been disruptive and very good.

They arent' getting sacks because Eli and Keenum both went to checkdowns really quickly. The DL performance and the lack of passes completed down the field are directly related - and DLaw has been the best DL.

Go ahead and give Crawfords sack to DLaw too, because of all the attention he commanded and how disruptive he was on that stunt.

In somewhat of a reversal, the D's aren't as good as the O's to start the season and it used to be the reverse. I haven't seen any real standouts in the first two games but that guy that some seem so happy to let walk, Lord Byron, has been the best I've seen.

The D won't see any real weapons until they get NO and GB, I'd wait until then to see where they are.

Gotta check ourselves and remind us that we're barely into the season or we'll be talking DAL-SF in the NFCCG like the old days.
I was stunned how many didn't care if we kept a pro bowl cornerback. Byron was outstanding yesterday.

When you want to be the highest paid, you are going to get more scrutiny. The teams and OLs we played are among the worst in the league.

A lot of shade being thrown around about my man D-Law around here (see below). So for those who only like looking at the stats:

Through two games:

D-Law
0.5 sacks | 3 QB hits | 1 FF | 0 TFL

Aaron Donald
0 sacks | 2 QB hits | 0 FF | 1 TFL

K Mack
1 sacks | 1 QB hit | 1 FF | 2 TFL

Von Miller
0 sacks | 0 QB hit | 0 FF | 0 TFL

JJ Watt
0 sacks | 1 QB hit | 0 FF | 0 TFL

First half. Second half, he gave up some things, but they were mostly short passes.

He caused multiple disruptions and we should have had a couple INTs because of the pressure. And the rest of the D line are jags. For not playing in the off season - he did very well.

It's NOT about sacks.
our d-backs dropped two sure picks yesterday. one which would have been a pick 6.

Not worried yet. It’s early and he’s coming off major surgery.

Fans also need to look at him like Amari Cooper. He’s a pro bowl caliber player but he’s not a top 3-5 player. You want him to get to double digit sacks but he’s not quite a guy that’s going to dominate every week. They’re going to be among the highest paid at their positions because of the timing of their contracts.

he controlled the skins best wr, mclaurin well. it wasn't until the skins moved mclaurin around that he began to catch passes.

He caught several passes against Jones near the end, including the TD throw. I'm not expecting Byron, or any other CB to not give up a catch, but I can't say he was outstanding when he does give up some. He was good. He wasn't a problem. He made some good plays. But outstanding? Take away the TD and maybe I could go there.

Heath head butted one too.

That was just awful awareness on his part. Both of the other interceptions got messed up because of the receivers affected the play. All Heath had to do was locate the ball and his would have been free and clear.

I’m way more worried about Jaylon. He looks terrible in coverage. Broddus on the post game show said maybe the Cowboys need to look into making him a rush the passer and run game specialist.
