Well at the end of August Jones said he understood that Gregory had filed for reinstatement.

I believe the league has 8 weeks to make a decision.

So we should know something by week 6 or 7, if not earlier.

Slow down.
His quote from August 31st.......

“It is my understanding that he MAY HAVE FILED FOR reinstatement,” Jones said. “And then it’s just time that we don’t control in terms of when they ultimately make a decision.”

"May have" is a whole lot different than "He filed for."

Let's not jump the shark.

It is interesting that both Jerry and Stephen seem to think Gregory will be back this season. I don't know if it is wishful thinking, trying to plant the thought in Goodell's mind or what.
Based on Gordon's track record and the fact that he's back playing football, Gregory should definitely get back on the field this year, imo.

DLaw has been disappointing to me so far. He got paid so I suspect that's all he was about all along. We will need those other guys to step up if our D is ever going to develop a respectable pass rush. I think we only have two sacks so far and that's just not enough.

The Cowboys did Gregory a YUUUUUGE favor in the Spring by restructuring his contract, to add one year, and give him a signing bonus of $310K. That signing bonus was to help him get through the suspension financially and still support his family. Gregory must know that he owes the Cowboys for sticking by him through all this, and the Cowboys must believe his play will ultimately be worth the investment. I've been disappointed in Gregory, but I still hold out hope that the giddy joy I felt when the Cowboys were able to draft a Top 5 talent with the 60th pick in the draft will pay off for the Cowboys. Do I trust Gregory? Of course not. But it doesn't cost me anything to still hope for the best. Gregory is a rare talent, and if (hope against hope), he can finally put it all together, it will be good for the Cowboys.

I'm just excited about Quinn to the point that it's whatever with Gregory.

If he's back then that is awesome but if not Quinn is a quality player that may be as good if not better then Gregory is right now.

Did you think he was playing for free?

No TC, No OTA’s, I’m sure he’s that has something to do with it.. Just a thought

Gregory Drafted in 2015 and thus far has played 28 games and missed 38 games. Should he return when is the next suspension? I don't wish ill on him but on the other hand he can't be relied on. With Gregory you have to worry if he were to return does he screw us over in the middle of the season leaving the team scrambling to replace him once again. Myself I just would not take that gamble on him

I'm over Gregory. Until he can remain available I can't care.
