Should Cowboys consider resting some stars vs Dolphins

Can’t argue with that logic

Problem is I looked at their depth chart, and the only guy I can see doing anything here is Allen Hurns. If you go back to the 2018 offseason, he was really good. As in replace a not good Dez Bryant good. Kinda what we need now

Miami looks like they’re headed to an 0-16 season. The line opened at 16 and quickly shot to 21. Totally unheard of in the NFL.

I understand we’ll probably start everyone but if anyone is nursing an injury this would be a great time to rest them and I’d seriously consider resting our starters if the game gets out of hand early.
Sounds reasonable. At least in theory.

You only rest players when you know there is almost a 100% chance the other team cannot regain the lead. So if they are up by 30+ in the 4th, they probably will pull the guys who have some dings or injury issues. (Zach, Amari, etc) I could see that happening, Rush getting mopup too possibly.

I honestly think our defense should feast this game. If we get a comfortable lead going into halftime I’d pull The offensive starters...losing Gallup has me a bit paranoid.

If we’re leading like 30-0 for example we should continue to leave our starters out there with risk for injury ?
Why??
This is an entirely different question than you began with?! You make it sound like, that because people say no to your original question, that they are also saying no to a completely different question.
The game starts 0-0. You treat the game as you would any other game. And you adjust from there. Simple.

My title was a lead in to my original post which lays it out.

Look at you all! The Boys need to go into this game to do battle like any other contender. To not do so, could bite the Boys in the azz, I hope I don't have to say "I told you so" .
