And is he good enough to start? Or was that all PS? We need ballhawks.

I hope so. Jeff heath needs to be benched. I mean he literally makes a good play last game and isn’t even looking at the football and allows the ball to hit him square in his helmet! That’s embarrassing, dude needs to get off the field. That’s awful instincts. And not too mention his horrible play recognition and he takes the worst angles.

Agreed, we need a gif of that for anytime someone brings his name up.

seriously the entire DBs set do the same thing, BJ never turns around and gives up a td where hes glued to WR, should have been easy to knock it down or pick, woods drops a sure INT, Brown looks lost.. Lewis seems better but not getting enough playtime.

lest not always piss on Heath guys.. hes a C for reason, film rooms grade these out and hes playing because the people that count that KNOW whos responsible for assignments see heath as the best option.. we see plays made or not but dont know who really was out of position and lost repsonsibiltys..

the defense isnt getting pressure, dropping's INTs, giving up a lot of yards, cant stop good RBs.. you think thats all Heaths fault?

internet knowitall gms at its finest..

we dont even know if Wilson is better until he plays real games with game plans and assignments he responsible for, not rouge PS games..

The defense needs work as whole, Quinn back should help but we arent playing offensive juggernauts here and they look like it at times playing our defense..

If you're not being thirsty to bash on Jeff Heath

It's a PBU and he made a great break on the ball. The only mistake he made was not getting his head around...

Heath has been one of our better players at creating turnovers too. He misses one and man Cowboyszone goes off.

Jeff Heath is done on this forum.

He's a solid player that is playing for peanuts but CZ wants an All Pro at every position.

The just over 700 posts guy should refrain from giving out message board advice.

He is just posting uninformed dribble.

Try spending some time reviewing games to see what really happens. Of any problems the Cowboys have had in the 1st two games, Heath is way down the list.

Also try reviewing some non-Cowboys games and reviewing the opponent in Cowboys games to see that other teams are not all loaded with All Pro Safeties.

Let me guess, the bad angles comment is in regards the big Saquon Barkley run in the Giants game.

Multiple other players made a mistake on that play long before Barkley got to Heath.

Heath was 15 yards back form the line when Barkley passed the line untouched with only Heath between him and the endzone.

The expectation for Heath to make that tackle is moronic.
Lmao no I’m talking about the Barkley play. I’m talking about the 1000 of other bad angles heath has taken since he became the starter. Anyone who knows football knows how bad heath is. And yes I watch other games and about 90% of the starting safeties in this league are better than Heath. He sucks and should be on special teams .

I take back what I said in the other forum. I think Thompson will be your starter. Wilson did practice all of last week but I assume he was a healthy scratch.

Sorry, O Lord of the message boards. I bow to your 42,000+ posts. Because I don't post constantly that obviously invalidates all my opinions.

Heath is a safety, the last line of defense. The fact others messed up has no bearing on his ability to make a tackle. He couldn't do it, he failed. Awuzie had to run Barkley down from behind and make the play because Heath is too slow. Still, no one is harping on Heath because of that one play. This is years of sub-par play. Heath has a place on this team and that place is special teams. I have watched other games this year and Heath is in the bottom of the league as far as ability.

I hope my opinion doesn't offend you. You could always create your own message board where only you can post so no one ever disagrees with you.

I like for people to disagree with me. It would be boring if everyone agreed.

Having said that, I only find disagreement from informed posters as interesting.

The constant uninformed opinions about players like Heath are boring.

Heath his share of faults but being slow is NOT one of them.

He ran a 4.48 forty and last year it was Heath that caught Barkley from behind.

No one knows. He hasn't played a down if NFL football yet

... and it would be a mistake to rush him back before he is functionally healthy enough to play - and expose him to a more serious and lengthier injury.

while he has his faults and limitations, Heath is not nearly as sorry and liable as people are trying to make out to be, sometimes I think some folks just love to "villainize' players as such for the sake and love of it. they act like he is Kevon Frazier useless.

and while they can keep pointing to the Barkley run (which involved one than one player) - no one points to the big hit blast heath put on TE Evan Engram where he quickly sniffed out an attempted
quick screen and run.
