The Brees injury is huge. You don't go into the Superdome now having to worry about 35 points hung on you. Still a tough game with their defense and crowd noise in a night game.

If one play and a very bad call earlier in the game makes the entire team of give up, that doesn't say much for that team.

But that is how football is. All you need is a good play here and there and momentum can shift suddenly. The Saints was cheated again from getting a TD. Refs needs to stop trying to determine the outcome of the games by calling some of these silly penalties.

Brees is expected to miss 6 games. There is no way he plays in 2 weeks when we visit NO.

As for the game itself... it's a primetime opportunity for the Cowboys to showcase their talents to a nation-wide audience. American loves it's Cowboys and they love them, even more, when they are beating every team to have the misfortune to be on their schedule. New Orleans is just another speed bump to our February trip to Miami to play in SB LIV.

I think he is done for the year. I did that to my thumb and that thing lingered for more than a year.

They will probably throw a bunch of tayson hill at us. That’s what I would do.

Despite perennial rules changes and protection by the league, it seems NFL quarterbacks are still fragile. ALL quarterbacks.

I’m glad we don’t play them this week.... however watch. The nfl “owes” the saints for all the bad calls.

We’ll be 3-0 likely going into that game. Perfect time for the “refs” to keep the saints relevant.

I’m skeptic.... but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lopsided game in terms of calls. The officials seem as bad as ever watching some of the games yesterday.

Not much PT is required, and he progressively does that starting 2 weeks post-op.

He probably tore the flexor pollicis longus or brevis; simply needs to be securely re-attached and fully healed.

BTW, Gallup's knee arthroscopy will be even more minor. If it were playoff time, he could be ready in 2 weeks.

Yes, and we have to remember, NFL players get far more rehabbing than us average Joes do, after my biceps tendon surgery, I went a couple times a week and was given some massage and some kind of ultrasound twice a week, plus had to do some bending of the arm 8-10 times a day.

Brees and Gallup will get around the clock heat, massage, exercise, and Lord knows what else every day...
