This means Dallas should win by around 28 to 7 . . . and I'm not so sure it won't be even more lopsided! :muttley:

Call me crazy, but this game really worries me. All week the media, fans and every sports talk show have been talking about how bad the Dolphins are. They just might show up to play with a huge chip on their shoulder.

The Fins are dumping all their best players -- it seems like their organization is actually tanking intentionally.

That's insane! You can't help but feel sorry for their fans. Being stuck with a team that awful must be torture.

I would imagine it's frustrating for the players to stand by, while watching their best players get sent packing.

I wonder if Dolphins fans actually don't even bother watching any of the games or look at any news on the team this year. I mean they shouldn't the team is taking the year off basically.
Why would you say this? Do today's fans only watch if there is a chance for them to win? Were you a Cowboy fan in 1989? I watched every single game in that abysmal year. We won just 1 game. I watched every game the year before also where we won just 3. Solid fans will still watch.

I agree. But then again, maybe we feel this way because we have been conditioned to think this because of the way the teams of yesteryear have performed over the past 2 decades and some change??? Maybe they come out and bury them like the Pats did?

We should be able to attack their defense.

They are 32nd against the run and 28th against the pass.

Keep in mind, they also just like Minkah Fitzpatrick ... who was their second best secondary player

It certainly helps that they're playing a team the appears to be in total tank mode.
They have to play someone. Last week it was the Pats and look what happened. It's not our fault they suck.

The fins are still an NFL team so the Boys better not take them lightly. Take care of business and move on to the next opponent.

They now have 3 1st round picks in the next draft and I'm assuming a ton of cap space. They are obviously tanking this year and will be lucky to win a game, however, if they play their cards right and hit on those draft picks, get the right FA's they could be instant contenders next year.

When the teams FO gives up why bother to spend 25 bucks for parking and 12 bucks a beer? Now for the ones that were stupid enough to buy season tickets they will dump them to others at bargain basement prices. Why throw away Good money after Bad. When you see the empty stands it will sink in

Well, that would definitely be a surprise and put an incredibly odd twist to that entire scenario! I'm thinking it's a bit more likely that their players have been badly discouraged after seeing their FO deal all their best players away. That's nuts. We're sure to see what occurs pretty soon, though! ;)

Completely different circumstances, the Dolphins planned this since January-March the 89 Cowboys were not tanking on purpose.

This has the makings of a classic trap game.

But we’re too good and we’ll win easy.
No shade intended at Romo, but trap games always felt like a real thing in his era. We had a tendency to play down to our competition and beat ourselves with mistakes in those years. If he were still under center, I’d be legitimately worried about losing this game, but with Dak you just get the feeling we’re going to roll to another clean, decisive win. As we should.

You may be right.

I loved Romo, but you make a good point.

Since some believe that this is a trap game, then it will be a good sign if the Cowboys do indeed blow out the Dolphins on Sunday.
