I am not sure how that makes sense though. Why wouldn't you just start Wilson, who had a great preseason and make Heath the backup? Why go out for a retread to replace Heath?

He has been scratched first two games of the season, after being scratched last third of last season. I agree he has potential but as a Cowboy he is a bust.

He just looks like the type of safety that the game has passed by.
He's a true SS / Linebacker type.
He did run a 4.4 40 though.

^^^this^^^...BUT in Rods scheme, we may be able to find a role for him.I am thinking a hybrid box safety in the dime or even adding some weight and making him a linebacker. He has played some LB in GB. He is an athletic freak.

btw...my warning concerning the Miami game. ITS A TRAP. Fitzpatrick is very capable of stringing together drives and scoring.He is a streaky QB. We need the dline to hit him often,move him off his throwing spot. That's how u beat him. Our linebackers need to cover the damn running backs out in the flat. We didn't do that the first 2 weeks. The skins made a living checking down to the runner in the flat. Wide open. THAT CANT HAPPEN.
