Great! You’re a fun punching bag for me and several others here.

Your “secret reason” (hmmmm...) for hating Dak no matter what is adorable. You couldn’t be a bigger coward if you tried.

Have you started referring to Dak as “Master” yet? You’re his little female dog now.
You have a reading comprehension problem. I have stated reasons several times, but your arrogance prevented you from from reading them with any amount of understanding.

Again, I don’t think you can, which is why ESPN does not feature it on the stats page. I think it has to do with the way it is calculated and the opponent adjusting they do to it, but then again no one knows since ESPN will not disclose exactly how they calculate it.
Sure, you could average their rank, and as long as you represented it that way it would be fine. I think Dak finished 3,4 and 17 so one could say Dak has averaged a rank of 8th in QBR over his career (which is not top 5 as the person I originally quoted was trying to say, but again, since there is no career total QBR score I wasn’t sure what he was trying to say).
If we knew the exact criteria I guess we could, but you’re right. We don’t know that. Good point.

Anyway, have you come around on Dak? Or not enough yet?

He looks pretty good so far.

I never read why you don’t like. I wonder why you couldn’t just tell me again, but I’m sure you have totally reasonable reasons.

I like to include Dak’s entire career stats. They’ve shown he’s at minimum very good. IMO.
I am not going to spend 20 minutes typing out reasons just to accommodate somebody that not has their mind made up already. Every reason that I have for disliking Dak is due to his faults on the field. My opinion has been stated many times, and I don’t expect or care if anybody agrees.

He looks great so far, I’m not gonna say it’s just because of the tomato cans we’ve lined up, because every QB will get to face their share of tomato cans when the season is over. So it will all average out.
With that said, I wouldn’t change my three season view on a player after two games, good or bad. We’ll see what we have at the end of the year.

“I will never like or accept the guy as the Cowboys QB. I have that option and I have my reasons.”

LOL so Dak could lead us to a Super Bowl title and win MVP and it wouldn’t change your stance?

Hmmmmmmm... I wonder why that is!!!

Yeah, you’re complete and utter trash.

Thank you for displaying your stupidity, cowardice and ugliness for all to see. That’s why you’re a joke who nobody takes seriously.

Why do people dig in so hard on stuff that they have no idea what they’re talking about? I’ll never understand it.
Career batting averages aren’t calculated by averaging the seasons. Try it and see if it matches up.
Career passer rating is not calculated by averaging the seasons. Try it and see if it matches up.
It can’t be averaged because of the way it works. Each year is weighted for that year specifically. I am not trying to insult anyone here or just arguing for the sake of arguing. It is conceptually impossible for QBR to be represented as a career number. Again, I issue the simple challenge: what is Dak’s career total QBR? Go to his page and look for it.
Sure, but if we had the raw data we could calculate the logistic regression probabilities. Given that we are never going to have the raw data, I don't think it is unreasonable to average season ratings together. It wouldn't mean quite the same thing since it would be the average probability of the QB's team winning for a season, but it would still be comparable.

Even now? I mean I guess his on the field accomplishments could be challenged. (Most wins except Brady, most comebacks, passer rating, qbr, etc)

But now isn’t he off to a great start? Maybe he’s turned the corner and his new offensive coordinator Is maybe helping that.

Did you really say “you’d never accept him as your QB”?

If so it seems there’s no way his on the field play could be the main factor in that thinking. Because he could always improve. Right?

Some of you have dug in. Maybe it’s getting close to the time to stop digging.

Why does it matter if I don’t like Dak? The Dak lovers just can’t stand it if everybody don’t slobber over Dak. Maybe I am just different because I don’t care about other poster’s opinions in the least. There are millions of people that feel the same way as I do and there are a lot of those people that are Cowboy fans. I have stated time after time that it is nothing personal against Dak and it is all about his play, but some people can’t read years of posts and comprehend their meanings.

You just got finished stating on Sunday that you will never like Dak as the quarterback of the Cowboys, never. Meaning that no matter how well he plays you will continue to dislike him. If he has a158.3 rating for the entire season and we win 4 super bowls with him. Meaning it has nothing to do with game play. Meaning it is personal. Meaning it is ugly.

Why does it matter?:)

Because I like to know who I share this community with. That is, who I should respect talk to etc. and who I shouldn’t. It’s a valuable part of socialization and sensible to want to know who exactly I’m socializing with.

I’d like to know if you’d admit why you don’t like him or if you’re upset about what that would reveal about you. Or if you don’t have a rational reason then we can agree it is what @DakPresgoat said it was and that’s “willful ignorance”. It’s very hard to have a reasonable discussion with someone that is being willfully ignorant.

I want to know who is willfully ignorant for my own personal reasons.;)

You Dak lovers just can’t understand why everybody don’t think like you and it really upsets you. Everybody has an opinion about everything. Me and you may agree on 99% of the posts, but why is it so hard to understand not everybody agrees with you on every topic. I am a member of a bunch of Cowboy sites and Dak lovers are hard to find there. There are millions of fans that sees things the same as I do. I guess we are different because I don’t care what others think. Group think does not effect me.

I don’t see it because you’re not able to explain why. At all. You’re saying juts because and I posted why. The only thing I saw was because “I have my reasons”

Why is it so hard for you to say it? Is it embarrassing?
I’m guessing it very possibly is and that could actually be a good thing to be shameful of.

Again. I’m asking for a reason. Why can’t you say what it is? And is DAK-Lovers a euphemism for something else?
