Did you really want to give up a 1st round draft pick and go 2 years in a row without one? It actually would have taken more than a 1st rounder because the Steelers 1st rounder is going to be higher than the Cowboys 1st rounder, so the Cowboys would have had to sweeten the pot to outbid the Steelers.
same argument, who can you get at 27-32 that better then Amari or Minkah?? if fans here believed Minkah was that good why not? the steelers gave up a better first and more .. they see him more and wanted him in the draft.. SO why not?

What's it going to be then, eh?

No doubt Jerry just playing games, but maybe not as serious of a sprain as reported

It is what he does.

Remember when Romo would get hurt and it is always week-to-week?

If it is indeed a high ankle, you might as well throw short time tables out of the window. They can linger for an entire season and are never a week to week thing.

Well, there is a thought. A broken down Eric Berry is still better than Darian Thompson.
heres thought EricB does he want to be a Cowboy>? if so how bad and how much $$$$.$$

seems to me that on Eric and his agent.. id doubt he takes the league vet min..so whats he worth 3 games into the season?

And what is wrong with this. You don't let your opponents and the entire NFL world know how long one of your players is out and why they are hurt. Take a look at how Belichick does it. That's how it should be done. I like that Jerry does it like this. The Cowboys know what's wrong but the rest of the public doesn't need to know.

Kevon Frazier time more likely than Wilson.
Eric Berry has been mentioned. But how much does he want, but at least he can come in and play, and be released, as his money will not be fully guaranteed.

Minkah Fitzpatrick can't say inow who will be available, but I don't know that Minkah actually is that good. I certainly don't think he is the level Amari Cooper is.

Dolphins, then at NO, with Bridgewater at QB, who can still be decent, but at least he is not Brees. But GB in 3 weeks could be a big problem.

Now that I've had time to digest it , my thoughts on not getting Fitzpatrick have changed , and it's because of who got him............

The Steeler's track record regarding DB's has been pretty awful the last half-decade (or more)............................

Their DB's have been horrible, so it was a good trade for them. I hate it, but it was a good trade.

I would have pulled the trigger on the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade regardless of Xavier Woods health. Dallas would be in a decent place had they gotten the deal done with Miami. Too bad...
Whose job was Minkah taking? Not Woods.
