If there's one good thing about the injuries, it's that there all at different positions, would hate to have lost Gallup, Street and Cobb, e.g.

And as far as A. Woods goes, at least the Cowboys can put Crawford in at DT and Quinn is in at DE.

But as much as I'm not as down on Heath as some, he's not a top safety, with Woods in there Heath's shortcomings can be compensated for. Now we better hope the pass rush and run defense steps up...

Jets would need to accept a 2nd rounder and Taco. That's the only way this happens.

Definitely hope Wilson is ready to go.

A thought that has also bounced around in my mind is what about Donovan Olumba at safety? Not just because of the injury but the chatter on him has been that he just doesn't have the speed to recover as a CB. Why not give him a chance on the back end? We know he has some ball skills & is aggressive. Maybe reacting to things happening in front of him is just the place he needs to be.

The worst position for us to take an injury at. Woods is our only competent safety IMO. We may have to play Bryon Jones at safety again. Hopefully Wilson is able to carry over his play from the preseason.
