Part of the reason he wants out is because he is man cover corner and the jags are apparently playing alot of zone. I don't know how that would go over here, since I believe we play alot of cover 3 zone, am I right, or no?
Yes, but a lot more man is played in dallas than people think. I think the zone coverage has been exaggerated this year because of playing with leads the first two games.

Last year it was a lot of combo coverage with aggressive man coverage on the outside, zone on the inside.

I think Ramsey said he would never play for cowboys because Jerry went with zeke over him. Money talks. If they trade for him and give him a deal soon he’ll be ecstatic playing for a winning team

hypothetically it would take more than a 1st rd pick to get Ramsey,i personally think he is a head case and not worth the trouble.

Haley was a massive head case. Not sure if you were around for that but it was major move that brought in multiple SBs.

He was saying the complete opposite. He also said that there was nobody out there that would justify losing someone who is already on the roster. In other words, they like Byron better than Ramsey.

No, he isn't saying that. He was talking about availability There are lots of players Jerry would be interested in that aren't available.

Jerry's just mealy-mouthing around trying to be non-committal in case Ramsey decides he wants to be a Cowboy. He's dealing from the bottom of the deck like he learned in, "The Art of the Deal."

Never say never. I wouldn't be surprised nor would I be mad if we take a chance on him. He's better than any other DB we have.
I would take him over Jones in a heartbeat. The guy is a serious play maker.. jones might knock balls down. Ramsey takes balls away.
BUT.... no doubt Ramsey is gonna want Deion type money, and we cant do that. Jones will be much cheaper for sure to keep.

I do not want Ramsey at all. Did you see him explode at the coach on Sunday? If I remember correctly, he is often fighting with opposing WRs. And the Jags haven't won squat with him.

IM thinking that the Jags losing has a little something to do with the QB position more than Ramsey.

I’d rather get a stud defensive lineman or lockdown safety than another corner. We still have to pay Byron. Coverage doesn’t seem to be our issue it’s getting the pressure and filling gaps. Don’t see how Jalen would help with either of those things that much.
