Norman makes the tackle. Not all that impressive. I mean cool to do it but wasn't too successful.

He didn't slow down for the purpose of stiff arming him. That would be selfish. He slowed down, hoping to set up Gallup for a block.
I think he should have cut back behind Gallup. That would have immediately put Gallup in position to push Norman out of the way. Even still, I'm not sure there was going to be much more gotten out of that play no matter what he did.

I agree, he probably would've gotten more out of it if he'd either slowed down momentarily or put Gallup between him and Norman. The flip side is the defenders coming from behind may have caught him.

Although, if Norman kept running upfield and Gallop's block went to his back...
Ideally, Gallup would just let Norman keep running, but for some reason players see the back of the jersey and just want to push a guy.

Yeah, number 20 would have had an angle, especially with the slowdown a move like that would cause. Probably would have got 5 more yards at most.
