Has Zeke lost some of his speed?

Lol damn y’all wild. Saquan gets caught from behind nobody cares. Zeke does he gets questioned. I don’t remember the last time he had a wide open lane to take it to the house. When’s the last time he had a hole like Saquan did be us when Chido caught him? I challenge someone to show me the play from last year
100%, if the oline can get back to being dominant at run blocking again like Zeke’s rookie year the long runs will be there again. People act like his rookie year he was breaking tackles like Payton or Campbell on his long runs, no the line was giving him huge lanes up the middle and he was getting into the secondary often untouched. Last couple years that’s rarely happened and his longer runs are from bouncing outside and the speed once he gets going still looks the same

Barkley is not fast, if so he would not have gotten walk down.
I think he’s fast but it’s overrated, I’ve seen him get ran down a few times in his career already. Some on here they act like he’s Bo Jackson and Zeke is Jerome Bettis. Their downfield speed is pretty close between the 2. Barkley’s always gonna have more 40+ yard runs due to his superior agility and elusiveness

Barkley is ok speed wise but more quick. Darrell Green was the only person catching TD back in the day and he was a track star who I still remember on TV running the 200 Meters at Texas AM&I. So I can understand that but know one else is catching him in the open field.

I looked up the Next Gen stats for fastest ball carrier for this year and the last three years. It only lists the top 20 or so, but Barkley was on the list this year and last year. Elliot does not appear on the list any of the four years. I don’t know if it’s possible to get Zeke’s top speed from that site or if it only shows the top guys.

I will say the man earns his money and is a stud RB but I cant help but think he was faster in his rookie year. I just dont see zeke breaking alot of those long runs like he did his rookie year.

This is what happens when you hold out. You are rusty.

I was saying this last year. It used to be if Zeke was even with the defender he was gone. Not seeing that anymore. That's why I wanted the Cowboys to use a complementary back to limit his workload.
