It appears he got hurt on the fourth down play on Washington's last TD drive.

He was rolled over a bit. You can see him lay on the ground and reach for his leg. He stayed in the last two plays. He didn't appear to limp.

I don't think he'll miss much time.

On the break today they were giving some inside scoops on xaviers injury. They hinted at it not being as serious as reported. Instead of 4-6 wks its more day to day.
Sounds like he will only miss one game, if that.

Ugh, this is TERRIBLE!!!

Darian Thompson time!!!!

Darian Thompson should be a strong safety. IMO he should have always been in front of Heath at SS. They have been playing him out of position.

But that shouldn't matter now that we have Wilson. As long as they don't bury Wilson behind Woods we should be O.K.

Hopefully the return of Quinn can help the front 4 get some pressure on the QB and alleviate some of the pressure on the DBs until woods returns

Great observation.

I love it when people really watch the games and see the details.

Odd that you post terrible but then post his highlights...

Thompson is a backup Safety in his 4th NFL season with a full season of starting experience. He has very good size and decent athletic measurable(s).

It's hard to ask for much more from a backup Safety.

So right now we have Heath and Frazier and Thompson as active. Wilson also has started practicing, right?

Seems we have a bunch of SS so Heath may have to play more FS?

Now you fools that do not appreciate X-man Woods will learn what life is like w/out him. Aaron Rodgers will pick us apart. Not having Woods in the Packers game is an "L" on our schedule. We are already handicapped by Heath back there. Our schedule has been kind to us thus far and it will continue in week 3 playing the free-falling Dolphins. The Saints will be a challenge but w/out Brees we have a chance. Brees is another QB that would pick us apart with X-man gone. Let's hope our X-man returns by the time we play Philly. And by then you fools that do not current appreciate Woods will by then learn how much better he makes the Cowboys D. Pay attention and watch my words come to fruition in the coming weeks.

They are playing the Dolphins. Looks like they are resting anyone that is slightly dinged up.

Is there any position they have that would challenge ours? Just don’t want us playing backups and then somehow other starters get hurt

@robphillips3
Jason Garrett says there’s a chance Xavier Woods (ankle) does something in practice today. #cowboyswire
