Just finished this season of The Ranch. Whoa!! :omg:

Can't wait for the last 10 episodes!!

I love the show. I'll admit it lost a little bit if it's luster when Rooster left, however, Dax grew on me more this season. Still a great show imo. I love the mix of comedy and drama.

Perpetual Grace, LTD on epix. FANTASTIC. By the same dude who did Patriot for Amazon. Quirky, dark, funny, intricate. Unique.

Bro, trust me... watch it! The first 3-4 episodes are slow and confusing, but it gets soooooooo good! Do yourself a favor and find a "family tree" for the show so you can keep all of the characters straight
I finished Season 1 last night. Man this show is intense! The score is amazing! It's like a Stranger Things for grown ups. Luckily, I didn't have much trouble following all the characters. IMDB reviews for Season 2 are even better than Season 1 so I'm looking forward to starting it tonight.

It looks like Apple and Disney are getting ready to launch their streaming services and Apple looks to be coming out of the gate pretty strong. Anyone heard anything about the others like Universal and when their launching? I am going to give them a shot because I don't do regular TV.

Also, if you are a music streamer as I am, Apple Music, Amazon has just launched their CD quality service with every song they have only compressed to the CD level, no mp3's or AAC, but it's not part of the Prime deal but you can try it out for 90 days, if you are a Prime member. The holdback for me is that it doesn't make any difference if you are Bluetoothing it to your speakers, has to be WiFi to notice the difference.

The showrunners had already said they were good for one more year but I guess Netflix hadn't signed on for another year but they had to sweeten the pot because the Duffer brothers want more projects. They left this open for the Battle for the Upside Down in 3.

Just finished watching "Pennyworth" and really liked it. It's about about Batman's Butler Alfred's life after he leaves the SAS and before he becomes the Wayne's butler.

I just started watching Wu Assassins, it's pretty good so far. It stars Iko Uwais, from The Raid movies, and Kathryne Winnick from "Vikings" Tommy Flanagan, Chibs from SOA, and Mark Dacascos are also in it. The action scenes are pretty good.

Started watching Wu Assassins. Pretty good....some really good fight scenes. It's kinda weird seeing Tommy Flanagan with the facial scars covered up. Took me a few minutes to realize who it was.

Just announced that Apple will be taking over the "Band of Brothers" and "Pacific" franchise from HBO and will be producing "Masters of the Air", the 3rd in the series with the original producers Spielberg and Hanks.

Looks like Apple is pretty serious about this streaming thingy as this is set to cost around 200M to produce. I do wonder about the future of theatrical releases and theaters in general with these really large and serious players in the movie game. Will people with an entertainment budget reduce their trips to the theater with these new streaming services and I haven't seen anything recently about Universal's entry into this.

I saw that they're releasing "The Irishman" in several theaters just to get it in Oscar consideration but then it's Netflix all the way.
