Williams is still a scrawny liability. Against big boys, we're screwed if we don't give him help. Looney should be there because Connor is not ready for guard

I like him better at T, but we signed Collins. It will be interesting to see if McGovern is given a chance to beat him out at LG next year. Williams as a swing G/T would be fine with me. Let him learn some TE routes for jumbo packages too.

You know that Aaron Donald primary lined up against Connor Williams in the playoff game and Donald had zero sacks or QB Hits in that game. That's the only playoff game were he had zeros in those stats and it's rarely happened in Donald's career.
Its true.....and it was Suh that was wrecking havoc in the backfield that day!

I don't get all the hype with Aaron Donald. He's a good player but I don't see all the talk about him.

Connor had more than one bad play. He scares me. Fletcher Cox better never be 1:1 against him.
I've actually dialed in on him the first two games and he's struggling. A good chunk of the plays in pass protection in which he doesn't have a Frederick help/chip he's either getting straight up bull-rushed or beat immediately off the line.

Depending on the weekly DT match-up I wouldn't be surprised to see more help from Frederick

Tyron's healthy and he's just been scary.
He struggled the first 5 games of last year but those last 10 he was playing at an all-pro level. He's been incredible since they fired Alexander. There's a reason why he was voted as the #1 performing player in training camp, he's a monster (report was he was making Quinn look like a college rookie)

With the exception of one bad play by Connor William's and a terrible false start by him, the oline played GREAT.

Running lanes were open for Zeke and Dak looked comfortable in the pocket.

Nice job oline.

Watching Beard help was actually great to see because it showed the staff is finally seeing the obvious and making adjustments in game

Just watch the 1quarter of the Rams VS Saints, Aaron Donald is by far the best defensive player in the NFL right now.

Not only that it's not like Donald got hyped by getting hot for a 6 game stretch. He's been 1st team-all pro for the last 4 straight years. He's consistently high level (like Tyron and Martin)

Damn....that's a helluva post and fact. I mean, it might just be WIlliams is inconsistent in is technique and motor too. I really don't know but he does check out at times. Frustrating.
He can handle the smaller faster guys what he cant handle is the power, bull rush type guys.

Or he is just young and still developing? He had some really good plays today too!!

I agree. I think he got a bad rep his first year and now any mistake is magnified. I actually think he has been playing pretty good and will only keep getting better.

Being the weak link on the line of Smith, Martin, Collins, & Frederick doesnt mean you are weak
