He's not considered a veteran by that standard. He'll be subject to waivers and likely claimed within the first few picks. Maybe the Giants
Ok thanks. That makes it even more surprising that they can't even get at least a 7th round pick for him. Wow

There’s no doubt he’s a better player than Armstrong, Jackson , and Hyder. This just sounds personal. The coaching staff couldn’t swallow their pride on this one.

Nope, he wasn't.

It's a 1990 argument in 2010s football.

McClay has made some good moves and deserves praise for them.

He also deserves criticism. If you want to avoid free agency like the plague and primarily "build through the draft", you absolutely cannot miss on 1st rounders.
No, no, no.

This is about a batting average. Or something.

Nothing says trade value like "we will move on if no trade offer"

Cowboys: "Taco for a 4th round pick or we will cut him...."
31 Teams: "Ummm, we'll just wait."

Well he’d have to clear waivers, so it is possible that 2-3 teams are interested in his services, and depending on the order of those teams on the waiver wire someone might be willing to give up a pick to secure his services, and if not he gets cut.

maybe, I wish we would have moved on as well, but I don't know how much of an upgrade Richards is and I don't think up and coming candidates are dying to come work here
If it makes you feel better I'm not sold on Richard and hope he leaves as well.

They have to, Have To, HAVE TO get Marinelli out of there in the offseason. He is a cancer but unlike Jerry this one is operable.
It still won't make a difference as long as the person with the final say has no football sense.

I think he retires after this season anyways. Richard was brought in to be a DC not a passing game coordinator.
And Richard signed off on the Trysten Hill pick instead of having a clear path pulling the pick of the litter from the safety class.

It doesn't appear Marinelli being gone would make a lot of difference.

Is there any chance the Uber driver that picks Taco up from the Star is called Marinelli?
