That's apparently the case according to Rich Eisen. If that's true, doesn't that give Jerry more leverage and proves his case that being a Cowboy comes with a lot of off the field advantages that a high majority of other franchises don't have.
So, he can make 33 million as a QB on Dallas and 40 million in endorsements in a single season.
Or
He can make $36 million a year with Jagauars and make $5-10 million off the field, if even that. Only way he makes more is if he ends up with Patriots in the event Tom Brady retires at the end of season. But that's unlikely.
Seems like Jerry has a lot more leverage in the negotiations.
Surprised Dak doesn't want to take $30 million in order to help the franchise retain more talent in order to increase their chances at a Superbowl. That would only mean more money off the field where there is no salary cap.
