This is definitely an unexpected surprise. Let's hope he's not being rushed back before he's 100% ready for it. Nevertheless, it would be unlike JG to take chances with an injured player when it's always been his tendency to err on the side of caution with injured players. Be that as it may, it's good to see that there's a chance that Xavier might return sooner than expected. Let's stay tuned and hope for the best, shall we? This is great news! ;)

Good news, sounds like he's further along with rehab than we were first that led to believe. Much better than hearing he's in a boot watching from the sidelines. Hopefully Gallup will be on the short end of the rehab timeline as well.

Garrett might just be acting coy. Remember in '12 or '13 after Romo broke his back against the Commanders, Garrett was adamant that he was "day-to-day", knowing full well Romo's season was done.

Hoping Woods is good, but I wouldn't necessarily believe anything Garrett says.

Maybe the media was wrong, yet again. It was he may be out 6 days. :muttley:

I think the national media heard "high ankle injury" and automatically figured Woods would be out at least a month. But we have no idea of the severity of the sprain and he truly may be day-to-day.

At any rate, the Cowboys should let him rest for a week or two, but this is positive news regardless.

It was 13-0 with the patriots well into the 3rd quarter.

If Dallas replicates that CZ will destroy them haha.

I didn't watch the game, did the Pats defense score most of the TDs? Tom only had 2 TD passes.

If the Patriots defense or special teams ran up the score this game will be closer than expected.

Entering the fourth quarter, the Dolphins had 38 yards net offense. The game was close on the scoreboard for a while, but the Patriots were never truly threatened.
I didn't watch the game either, but paid attention to the articles about it around here since we play Miami next.

Some guys can play through some pain, with a shot. You dont see this much because of the money involved in the NFL these days. This would lead me to believe its not as serious as its being reported. Depending on his participation. I doubt he plays any this week and probably next week. And he shouldnt.
