Anybody becoming impatient with our easy schedule games?

I'm feeling like I did in 2007: I've become suddenly so confident (over-confident) in the Cowboys that I am losing patience with cupcake games like the Dolphins and just want those to be over with already. I just want to skip them over, have them go as W's into the win-loss column already, and mentally just fast-forward to the goodies like the Packers, Eagles, Patriots, Saints and Rams games.

Mentally don't even care about Dolphins, Jets and Commanders.

Anyone else feeling this way?

(At the same time, I am well aware that even cupcake games can be nail-biters, like how Dallas only barely pulled out that 25-24 Monday Night thriller in Buffalo in 2007.)
Not only no but HELL NO. Why would any complain about seemingly easy games in the NFL? Some seasons are much harder than others. Count your blessings.

enjoy it while you can those other games might prove to be frustrating.

over expectations caused by the early cupcakes will let down a lot of people..not saying we lose all the tough ones but we wont look like we have..

no rush

No. And I hope the Cowboys don't take any of the teams on their schedule lightly, just because some analyst on ESPN said it would be an easy game.

that is nuts,
I can see his point all the overconfidence and talk up the headlines on how we are great and things have changed.. well we wont truly know this until AFTER the games with big boys..

right now its all smoke nd mirrors so one can wonder are we better or are the teams we are playing THAT BAD..

BUT the season is short enough, so ill enjoy each win until the big ones get here..no rush for sure

I don't take any game for granted, and I hope the players don't. We almost got beat by New York last game of 2018 and some of the media and fans had penciled in a 'W'.

There's not a team in the league that can't beat the Cowboys on any given Sunday.
Put away the anointing oil and tap the brakes.

With TC and pre-season being non-existent I'm glad to have some warm up games. Especially installing a new O.

I understand the OPs point though about just getting this W behind us and moving on. Even though the game will be super easy, and it will be, there's still a risk of injury. Hopefully we'll be so far ahead that the backups will see a lot of action.

One of my best friends is a Dolphins fan and was on the “lmaooo Dak sucks, he needs to switch positions” train. I’ll be enjoying every second of this easy win.

Nope, give me the easiest schedule possible.

Yes, pre season games were more interesting playing these trash teams. I was looking forward to the Saints as the first “big” game but now even that has lost it’s luster with Brees out. I wish I could fast forward to the Packers game.
You would think preseason games are more interesting than regular season games. Climb out of your Mom’s basement once in awhile.

I'm the opposite. I'm less confident until we play a good team. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we get blown out 28-0 by the Packers in a few weeks, given they have Aaron Rodgers and a stout defense.

Nope. Every now and again you put Madden on the rookie setting and beat the tar out of some team.
