Anybody becoming impatient with our easy schedule games?

If you're talking about your own teammates being lesser, yes. But if you're talking about the other team being weaker, I think that would help us stay healthy...unless they resort to horse collar tackles and cheap tactics, to make up for their lack of ability.
In basketball if you play a team that's really tired and weaker and less talented can you end up tripping literally over people that can't get out of your way when you're heading towards the basket. I've seen that more than once. Like the defensive line if you're trying to get over an offensive lineman that falls down and then someone else trips over him that's an accident waiting to happen. Maybe I didn't explain it properly

The obvious difference being that football is a contact sport, and you're expecting to run through and over guys. Sorry brother, I think you're more likely to get injured by strong opponents than weak ones.

I think if you are strong and they are strong that's a battle I don't see injuries happening. But I respect your opinion. It seems more injuries happen to us like Washington because they suck LOL

I'm feeling like I did in 2007: I've become suddenly so confident (over-confident) in the Cowboys that I am losing patience with cupcake games like the Dolphins and just want those to be over with already. I just want to skip them over, have them go as W's into the win-loss column already, and mentally just fast-forward to the goodies like the Packers, Eagles, Patriots, Saints and Rams games.

Mentally don't even care about Dolphins, Jets and Commanders.

Anyone else feeling this way?

(At the same time, I am well aware that even cupcake games can be nail-biters, like how Dallas only barely pulled out that 25-24 Monday Night thriller in Buffalo in 2007.)

LOL. I love that we have those easy games. Get in the playoffs then we will face plenty of hard teams.

No but I do think the Saints game will still be tough. Especially if Taysum Hill takes over that QB job.
Exactly. If we were playing the Saints their first game without Brees, I think it would be a slightly comfortable win, but if Payton has a few extra weeks to tool around with a new scheme, he could certainly catch some teams off guard.

I see a lot of ability that needs just needs to hone it all in.

He’s got all the tools plus the ability to run.

I didn't see any accuracy to his game in college. He has a strong arm and is a good athlete, but he didn't seem to have any good passer skills. Obviously with Brees there we haven't had any extended opportunities to watch him play in the regular season. Can't get past his 17 wonderlic score on his second opportunity. Or his small hands.

My thoughts...

First, we have two division wins. Easy or not that is important.

Second, Miami may seem like a no brainer for a W but let’s not look past this game. Every game is critical and deserves focus. We’ll play the tougher teams soon enough. For now, let’s use the opportunity to hone skills. I don’t think any one of us would say Kellen Moore wouldn’t benefit from another ‘easy’ game. He’s fresh at OC and has set Dallas on fire. One more soft game isn’t going to hurt for experience.

I'm not looking past any team. Just taking each week as it comes (especially with these injuries). I want to see how these backups play.

No, a win is a win in the NFL. Besides, after the Dolphins the next 3/4 games will be somewhat tough. Even without Brees.

Did you see the thread this week. People pray for other teams to be injured so we can play an easier team just makes me sick that people think that way. I want to play the best that's out there that's the only way you could become the best
Mano y mano. Their best against our best. I want the win to be a true victory of true champions.

Good games to hone skills and teamwork. Let some players that absolutely need it get some rest.
That said, any given Sunday...
I am quite sure the Saints weren't ready for us last year, not that the Cowboys were a 2019 Miami version of themselves.

Nope. I enjoy Sunday Cowboy games too much.

Not at all. I'd MUCH RATHER watch my team win regardless of how good the opposition is. Winning is the name of the game and i'm very much enjoying it.

I had rather see good teams play each other. Playing the Dolphins will be like watching Alabama blow out New Mexico State 62-10. It's just a game to pad stats, like Baltimore and New England did. I've watched football for 60 years and I've never seen a team tank on purpose like the Dolphins are doing this year.

Absolutely not. And I don't agree with the assessment of the teams. Washington's quarterback threw for 380 yards, 3 TD's and 0 interceptions against the Eagles. That was nearly as good as Dah's perfect game. Many here picked the skins to win against Dallas. I think rather than the teams being so awful. That Dallas is so good they make them look bad.
