Who would you say is the fastest Cowboy in history?
Bob Hayes? Deion Sanders? Someone else?

Below I'll link to the greatest *demonstration* of speed in NFL history. He scored the fastest touchdown. 3 seconds into the game. 14:57 into the first quarter and he had a touchdown. How is that possible? Do you know his name and the legend of his purported 40 time?

As for most impressive 40 time in NFL history I'm gonna throw you boys a curve.
There is one well known lineman who weighs in at 284 pounds. He ran a 4.69 at the combine. Do you know his name? I'll give you a clue: the word impressive is an understatement to everything he does on a football field.

Randall Williams on a kick off. I forget how he ended up with the ball.

Yup. Randall took Eagles trickery opening kickoff...to the house. 3 seconds of game clock time.

No, in truth it wasn't a great demonstration of Randal Williams speed. But there were urban legends that Randal W ran a 4.1.

No one will believe that--I sure don't. But no one will EVER be able say they scored a TD 3 seconds into a game. That will never, ever, ever, ever be matched.

You do know that the replay clocks on that started after he took a few steps so his time recorded on the field was actually impossible to achieve?

Haha, Alexander Wright 2.0.
Was glorious seeing that fat toad of a coach pissed on the sideline.

Forgot about Wright.

Thought I read at the time pound for pound he was the strongest on the team. Dude was a physical specimen but it didn't translate onto the field asides for KO returns.

That onside kick return was GLORIOUS. I remember having such high hopes for Randall Williams.

No way to ever know the answer on fastest Cowboys player on the field but I would put money on Deion.

The Raiders once tried throwing deep against Deion to some of their ex olympic sprinters turned WR and it was not even close. It looked like Deion was back waiting for a punt because he was so far past them.

Alexander Wright was extremely fast in a straight line. He ran a 4.14 forty.

There was a guy in camp one year that Garrett's Dad said was the best athlete that he had ever seen. Jim Garrett claimed he timed him at 4.0 in the forty.

Teddy Williams ran a 9.90 100 meters. I think his forty was low 4.2x.

Tavon Austin in college was as fast as anybody I've seen on the field just from a visual perspective. He has some of the all time best college highlights.

Yes, he was freakishly strong.

Years later Joey Galloway was a Cowboys player.

He ran a 4.18 forty and could bench press over 400 pounds.

First one is Charles Tapper. Gotta be. 4.59 at 271 is insanity.

Second one, Clowney? I'm actually not sure on that

He was very fast in a straight line but I could outrun him if I just cut from side to side...

Montez Sweat as a d-lineman ran a 4.41. 260 lbs.

I add an asterisk as I supect he's 255 and he's playing now as a linebacker for Skins.
